We walked down to a canal and got onto a gondola. I leaned into the Doctor's chest. He was lying across a bench and I was sitting in front of him with Alex sitting next to me and Amy and Rory sitting across from us. A few hours passed, it got dark, and Alex fell asleep. The Doctor picked her up and carried her to the TARDIS. I pulled out a blanket and covered her with it once The Doctor lied her down in her old room on the TARDIS. "Did you have a good day, love?" The Doctor asked me. I nodded my head and sat next to him on a chair in the console room. Just then, the TARDIS started to shake and felt like it was falling. "HOLD ON!!" The Doctor and I both screamed, as Amy and Rory came running out into the console room. We all grabbed hold of the railing and tried to keep our balance. "What's going on, Doctor?" Amy yelled, over the sound of the TARIDS engines. "The engines are failing and she can't hold us in space much longer." He yelled back, trying to get to the console. I manage to get up to the console and started to flip up the brake. "She's resisting the brake." I yelled. "Come on!! You'll crash if you don't let me put it on!!" I said quietly to the TARDIS. We felt the TARIDS land harshly on the ground. "Um... River? Where are we?" Rory asked. "Earth. London to be exact. Modern day. Good thing, too. I know my way around." I pulled on my jacket and strapped the blaster to my waist. "Ok but why did we crash?" Amy asked. "The TARDIS hasn't been used in six years. She's not used to flying around." I said, before the Doctor replied. I opened the door and looked around. "Great. We're in a park where everyone can see us. Sweetie, when I leave, lock the door and put it on invisible. I'll only be out for a second." The Doctor nodded. I walked out the door and slammed it shut. Just then, two men came running down the sidewalk to me. "What the hell is that?" The shorter one said. "Just a police call box. Why?" I said naturally. "No. It's not. We just saw it crash from the sky and-" The taller one stopped. The TARDIS went invisible. "Did it just-" The short one asked. I turned around and said "Yes I believe it is." The taller one said. He looked at me like he was studying me. He held out his hand. "Sherlock Holmes." I nodded. "River Song." I looked over to the shorter one. "John Watson." I shook his extended hand. "Judging by your hair, I can see you have had a difficult past. You grew up away from your parents but found them later on." John interrupted Sherlock. "Sherlock. Not now." "You hand placed over something in tour jacket suggest you are armed. You are a mother, but not married, suggesting you have been in a relationship before. You live with your parents and are not from around here. I say you break out of prison a lot, but break back in. You were convicted with murder many years ago to which you will willingly agree with. Am I correct?" Sherlock asked. "Impressive. But not quite. I am married. To a doctor, in fact. I've been in many relationships before. I'm a time traveler. The police box is a TARDIS, Time And Relative Dimensions In Space. And why did I just tell you all that?" I stopped. Sherlock smiled slightly. "Won't you invite your friends in for some tea? John, go tell Mrs. Hudson to set a tray for.. Lets say... 5 guests?" "Yeah. Of course. Or you could just text her.. Oh never mind." John turned around and walked away. "How did you know I have people in the TARDIS?" I asked, getting really suspicious. "Obvious, isn't it? Now, please Ms. Song. Won't you invite your friends in for tea? 221 Baker Street." He smiled and walked back to where the John fellow was going. I turned to the door and opened it. "What's wrong, dear?" Amy asked. "I just met a man named Sherlock Holmes and he invited us all over for tea." I said. "What?" The Doctor asked. "I can't believe it either. He looked at me and told me everything about myself. Then he told me to tell you guys to come over to 221 Baker Street for tea." I said, siting down on the railing. "Right well there's no harm in finding out how he knows so much about you." The Doctor said. Amy and Rory nodded in agreement. "Alex has to come. I'm not leaving her alone in the middle of London." I said. "ALEX!! GET OUT HERE!!! WE'RE GOING FOR TEA!!" I yelled into the hallway as I got up off the railing. Alex walked out of her room. "Why are we going for tea right after I go to bed?" I walked over and grabbed her hand. "Because I said we are. Lets go." I pulled her out along with Amy, Rory, and The Doctor into the park and we locked the door. "Right. 221 Baker Street. That's where he said to meet." I repeated. We walked across the street to a shop with a flat entrance next to it. I rang the bell and an old lady answered the door. "Ah. You must be River. I'm Ms. Hudson, Sherlock's land lady. Come in! Come in!" She let us all in. "Yes, um, did Sherlock tell you why he invited us?" I asked. "Oh, Sherlock. I never know what he's up to. Business has been a bit slow, so I guess he wanted some company." Ms. Hudson said. "BOYS!! You have company!!" She yelled up the stairs. John came down the stairs and said "Right. Um, you lot can follow me up. Sherlock's in his flat." I looked at Alex and then to The Doctor, Amy, and Rory, then shrugged. I followed John up to a small flat room and walked in after he opened the door. The five if us all gathered in the small room with John, when Sherlock walked out of the kitchen, carrying a tray of tea. "Sherlock Holmes." He said, sitting in a chair, not even looking at us. John said "Um... Please. Sit." He seemed much more polite than Sherlock. "I'm The Doctor. This is my daughter, Alex and Amy and Rory, my In-laws. Why did you invite us here?" Sherlock turned to us and looked into Alex's eyes. "12 years old. But you do not have the brain of one, do you?" He said, just looking into her eyes. "Yeah. Smartest person in all of Britain." She replied. Sherlock laughed. "Not possible. No. I am the smartest person in all of Britain. I can tell all about a man's history just by looking at his coat. I can see what someone has seen in their past just by looking into their eyes." Alex smiled and looked over to The Doctor. He winked and nodded slowly. "Yeah? Give me a word. Any word and I can translate it into over 50,000 languages." She stood up and walked over to the middle of the room. Sherlock did the same. "I can solve a crime just by looking at the grass it was committed on." They continued to compete. I had to stop this. Alex can go at that all day, and by the looks of it, I'm pretty sure Sherlock can do the same. "Alright. Alright." They wouldn't listen to me. I took out my blaster and shot the window, which thankfully was open. "I SAID ENOUGH!!" Everyone in the room snapped their heads at me. "Thank you. Now. Mr. Holmes. Please tell me why you invited us in." I pulled Alex back to the couch and secured my blaster onto my belt. "If you insist. Explaining myself really bores me. I saw your police box crash out of the sky. I needed something interesting to work on. I saw River pop out and knew there had to be something remotely interesting about that box. So I got John out and we wanted to get to know you lot."
