Luke nervously made his way out of the porta-potty. His hands fondling with the cloth bag he had hanging around his shoulders. He was supposed to be meeting Ashton in two minutes and he had no idea what he was expecting. Everything was so different on the other side of the forest to his side of the city.
Luke hesitantly crossed into the other side into the forest, no one really giving him second looks since he was wearing the bright yellow shirt and jeans. He nervously took a deep breath before he pushed past the vines hanging at the entrance to the forest and he was in.
Luke automatically noticed the difference, there were multiple people running around through out the town, a contrast to the city he lives in.
"Luke, it's great to see you!" a voice exclaimed, Luke turned away from looking at a food cart and saw Ashton running towards him with another bag in his hands.
"Hello Ashton, how are you this morning?" Luke asked, politely nodding his head towards Ashton and holding out his hand to shake it but Luke was pulled into Ashton's firm embrace instead.
"Ash-Ashton, I don't like being touched," Luke said shyly and Ashton just rolled his eyes, he should've known that Knowing weren't affectionate.
"I'm sorry, I'll warn you next time," Ashton said, a grin forming on his face as Luke looked at him blankly.
"Ok, where are we going now?" Luke asked, completely not phased from the smirk on Ashton's face.
"We're going to my studio! My friend Calum is already there but we're waiting on my friend Michael who is getting us breakfast," Ashton explained.
Ashton grabbed onto Luke's hand and Luke tried to ignore the butterflies that crawled up his throat and threatened to escape through his mouth. Luke was so scared; he had never had these feelings before.
Ashton broke off of the main path and continued down a narrow street towards his studio. Luke let him lead him a few more streets until they stopped in front of a small white building that couldn't be bigger than Luke's bedroom and Luke's bedroom was pretty big.
"We're here," Ashton said, Luke could hear loud music coming from inside and he could feel himself be blinded by the bright white walls that surrounded him. There were shelves placed along one wall, filled with paints and chalks and pastels and canvases while the rest was orderly and neat and pristine along the other three walls. There was a camera set up towards one of the corners and Luke assumed it was for what Ashton wanted to do.
"Ashton, you're back!" a tan, brunette boy exclaimed, walking up to the two boys, "Is this Luke?"
"Yes, I am Luke," Luke said, his voice firm and same with his handshake.
Calum noticed automatically that the Knowing wouldn't want to hug so he shook his hand and pulled it away shortly after when he saw the blonde boy looking at him curiously.
"I'm Calum but I'm sure Ashton has told you that already," the tan boy said, a smile wide on his face.
Luke nodded his head, not saying anything. His head was moving around the studio, inspecting everything and taking it in. He seemed intrigued by everything and Ashton couldn't wait until Luke was going to do the first photoshoot.
Calum and Ashton broke off into their own conversation as Luke walked over to one of the easels that had a half finished painting on it. Luke was mesmerized by the blues and greens and greys painted on the canvas. It wasn't until he took a step back the he realized it was an eye, his eye. Luke thought it was even prettier than the nature scene that Ashton had painted earlier and he thought that Ashton was way too talented for his own good.
