"That's the last box," Luke sighed, dropping the cardboard box onto the carpet of his new apartment. Well, their new apartment.

"I can't believe we're moving into an apartment twice the size of the apartment I used to have with two less people," Ashton commented, flopping down onto the sofa that had been left there from the previous owners.

"You asked for a studio and I supplied," Luke said calmly, falling down onto the couch next to his boyfriend.

Luke had a few rough months. He called off the engagement to the girl he was supposed to marry, he sold his apartment, gave the company to his seventeen year old sister and started the process of becoming a Knowing.

Technically his sister was way too young to keep the company but they had one of his dad's old advisors looking after it until she was eighteen.

He had now moved in with the big he loved and they were starting their own company together. An art school. It technically wasn't a company but Luke would manage it while Ashton would teach the kids.

Ashton had moved his studio into their apartment and the old building was now where they were going to set up their school.

"I can't believe we finally moved in together," Luke said softly, pulling Ashton close and running his fingers through his hair. The brunette hummed and cuddled closer to his lover.

"We should do it in every room of the house," Ashton said, making Luke chuckle a bit.

"Ok. Can we start in the kitchen? This time Calum and Michael can't walk in on us," Luke said and Ashton laughed loudly.

It had been true about what Ashton had said months prior that the couples would both take turns on walking in on each other. It was almost habitual. Luke had seen too much dick in too little time.

"Yeah. Then we can do my office next. This time my secretary won't walk in," Luke added, both boys laughing even harder.

To celebrate Luke's last day at work they had a lot of sex in his office and sadly the intern secretary walked in right when Luke had Ashton pressed against the window and was thrusting into him from behind.

That took a lot of explaining and a decent pay raise for her to stay quiet.

Word broke out quickly about Luke leaving and it was on the newsstands everywhere but it eventually died down when Luke and Ashton became more public on the Knowing side. Luke had to threaten to fire a few people to make up for it.

"What about the bathtub? We never got to there," Ashton said and Luke nodded in agreement.

"Definitely. We have about six of our next sex endeavors planned at least," Luke said.

"Please don't ever call them sex endeavors again," Ashton groaned, Luke blushing a bit at his choice of words.

So maybe he wasn't completely over being a Knowing but he was working on it.

"C'mon. Let's start unpacking," Luke said, squeezing Ashton's thigh and standing up, "You have a lot of stuff."

"Are you kidding me? You practically owned a mansion before you moved here. Most of the stuff is yours," Ashton scoffed, standing up next to his grinning boyfriend.

"I know. I know. I know. I know that you're materialistic Ash but it's okay. I still love you," Luke said calmly, watching his boyfriend's jaw clench.

Luke loved pushing Ashton's buttons.

"And you can sleep on the couch Luke but it's okay. I still love you," Ashton said, patting his boyfriend's cheek before leaving the room and going to the bedroom, deciding to start unpacking there.

Luke waited a few seconds before following the footsteps of his boyfriend and made his way to their shared bedroom. He saw Ashton bending over a drawer putting away some of the clothes so he decided to sneak up behind him.

Luke made his way over and saw Ashton facing the other way still. Luke stuck his arms out and grabbed Ashton, picking up the boy and carrying him over to their bare mattress. They didn't have any sheets on it but Luke didn't really care.

"I swear to god I'm going to beat your ass," Ashton grunted, struggling underneath Luke who was putting all his weight on his boyfriend.

"How can you if I'm still on top of you?" Luke asked, wrapping his arms around Ashton.

"I swear you're more like a Loving every single day," Ashton grumbled.

"Isn't that a good thing? We wouldn't have this huge apartment if it wasn't so," Luke commented.

"It is. I love you being a Loving now. You're a lot less uptight," Ashton said, earning a shove from Luke.

"I could be a lot more uptight if I wanted to be," Luke said, squeezing Ashton.

"Yeah, if you weren't around me all the time."

"That's true. But I like being around you."

"Good. I like being around you too."

Luke leaned in and pressed his lips softly to Ashton. He was so happy and a lot less miserable than he was being miserable.

It was difficult to change but Luke liked it. He'd never want to be like the person he was in the past. Luke loved his future and even more so now that Ashton was in it.

I started this book last year and it's so bittersweet that it's done now. I'm so excited to start new stories.
