Seven years ago...

After her encounter with Leo, Calypso told all her friends about him and showed them the Daisy, but didn't say a word about his magical powers.

No matter how much they tried they couldn't hide their excitement to the fact that she had met a boy. A real life boy!

"Was he cute?"

"How is his smile?"

Calypso held her hands up to shush them. "We're only ten girls. We shouldn't be caring about boys."

But she couldn't hide the fact to her self that she HAD to see this boy again.

The next day while the girls were at the lake Calypso snuck away again but bringing a small pink watch on her wrist with butterflies on its strap.

She managed to find her way to the flower patch and there were more flowers than before. She brushed her hands along them and watched them bounce back and forth as if dancing. She giggled and did it again when she heard him.

"You alright there?"

Calypso jumped back in fright. "Leo? Where are you?"

She heard a small laugh come from above and she looked to the trees. He waved and jumped down. "So, what should we do today?"

Calypso folded her arms and cocked her head to the side. "Well can you do anything apart from flower making?"

Leo bit his lip in thought. "Well I managed to make our TV explode."

"Our?" Calypso knotted her eyebrows together in confusion.

"Yeah my parents. Well my adoptive parents."

Calypso's eyes widened. "You were adopted?"

He nodded. "Yeah. I never knew my dad and my mother died in a fire when I was little, so... Did you think I lived under a bridge?"

Calypso looked down at her feet. "My parents gave me up. I live in the orphanage just down the street."

Leo and Calypso both frowned as tears threatened to show in Calypso's eyes but before they could, Leo gave her a huge hug.

She didn't hesitate to hug him back and she let a tear stream down her cheek. Just one.

They pulled apart and she smiled."Well I came to the conclusion yesterday that you're probably a troll."

Leo gaped in shock. "I do not believe that trolls look this good."

He opened up his jacket, held the ends and walked around slowly.

Calypso rolled her eyes. "Fine then." And she couldn't help but giggle.

The months passed by and Leo and Calypso grew close. So much so that they came to the fact that they were best buds. (By Leo's language.)

For hours on end they would grow flowers and sometimes Leo would start showing some new powers like setting things on fire.

He especially liked that one the most. He would brush past Calypso in a game of hide and seek and send a warm feeling up her arm for just a second. Long enough for her to freak out.

One day while they were playing, Calypso went by the big tree next to the flower patch and sat down. She heard her belly rumble and imagined a red juicy apple in her hands when one dropped into her palm.

Her eyes widened in shock and looked around to see who threw it. "Leo?" He came from around a tree with his hands smoking. "Yeah?" She threw the apple at him.

"Did you do this?"

He looked puzzled. "No?"

Calypso felt excited. What if she did it? She nuzzled herself into the tree and imagined a green and red apple tree. She bit her lip when a gasp escaped Leo's lips. "Cal, look!"

She looked up and couldn't believe what she saw. Apples growing on the tree right before her eyes!

"Do you know what this means Cal?"

She didn't know what to think. Thoughts were whizzing through her head. "Am I an elf?"

Leo laughed. "So that's your conclusion now? It's been months since you came up with the last one, but I think you're magic just like me!"

She jumped in the air with joy and ran over to Leo and hugged him tight and accidentally or purposely, gave him a small kiss on his cheek.

She stepped back smiling but dropped it to a frown when she saw him shocked. "Sorry."

Leo put his hands up. "No, no. It's ok." He smiled and hugged her just as her watch beeped 11:30pm.

She quickly said goodbye and raced off feeling so happy and scared at the same time. She had just discovered her own magic and little did she know the dangers that awaited her because of it...
