Calypso didn't know what to think of the situation. Her first ever day in Hogwarts and she already knew that the next seven years of her life were going to be very interesting, and not specifically in a good way.

She retired to her room after dinner following one of the older prefects in fifth year when she bumped into Hermione. "Hermione oh my goodness I'm so sorry,"

Hermione sheepishly smiled. "H...hey Calypso."

Calypso frowned. "Hermione I don't know why the sorting hat put me in Slytherin. (That was a lie.) but I do want us to still be friends."

Hermione smiled. "Okay. See you tomorrow." And she quickly hurried off.

When Calypso reached the common room it took her by surprise. The curtains were a lovely green and silver and the fire was nice and warm. There were black couches set up around a black wooden table and there were people all sitting around it.

Calypso just smiled. "Maybe this won't be so bad."

"What won't be so bad?"

Calypso turned around to only meet the face of the one and only Draco Malfoy. Again.

"Hi Draco."

"Calypso. Why were you talking to that mudblood?"

"Mud what?"

"Granger. She's a no good mudblood."

"And how would you know that?"

"Her parents are muggles."

"And that makes her a bad person? She couldn't control something like that and either way she must of had some sort of magical heritage like a squib in her family for example otherwise she wouldn't be magic."

And with that she walked off to her room leaving Draco completely perplexed.

She opened the door to her dormitory and smiled. The bed looked so comfy she just wanted to flop onto it. The curtains were green and the other side of the room was silver. I wonder who I'm sharing with? Calypso thought to herself.

She started getting herself ready for bed when she heard the door open. "Blaise you shut up you don't understand."

She heard the door slam shut and she walked out. "Pansy?"

The black haired girl turned to her and sneered. "Oh great. I get to share a room with a traitor."

"What?"

"You're disgracing your pure blood line by hanging out with that mudblood."

"Who ever said I was a..."

"I'm going to bed before you poison me with your stupid talk about that thing!"

She stormed into the bathroom and closed the door leaving Calypso this time completely perplexed.
