6: Sleeping Beauty

*Calum's POV*

"So, do you want to go back home, or do you want to stay a while?" I asked Kat, who had her head on my shoulder as we both sat there on the rock.

I turned my head slightly to look at her, and realized that she was asleep. I hated to wake her up, but I didn't want to stay out too long.

"Kat.." I whispered, pushing her hair out of her face.

"Yeahhh?" Kat muttered sleepily and raised her head a little, not wanting to really get up.

"It's getting dark out. We don't need to stay out too long, baby girl." I said quietly and kissed the top of her head.

"I don't want to walk." Kat whined.

"Just like old times.." I said and laughed softly before standing up. I gently picked her up and she wrapped her arms around my neck and her legs around my waist, and buried her face into my shoulder.

"I'm sleepy, CT." Kat muttered, almost sounding muffled.

"I know, Kat. I know. I'm taking you home, sleeping beauty." I said and she giggled, holding onto me as I carried her away from the park.

"I had fun tonight.." Kat said and I smiled some.

"I'm glad you did." I said.

Once I got to her house, I realized that I don't have a key, and I don't want to bother her by asking for her key. So, I walked to my house and carried her inside.

"What are you-"

"Shh. She's asleep, Mali. Don't wake her up." I whispered almost as soon as my sister began to speak.

"Sorry. Oh, Cal?" Mali said quietly.

"Yeah?" I whispered.

"Is that Kat?"

I simply nodded my head before carrying Kat up the stairs and into my bedroom, then I laid her on my bed and covered her with the blankets.

"Sleep well, Katherine." I said and kissed her head before going back downstairs.

"You called her Katherine." Mali said once she saw me enter the living room and I laughed softly.

"Yeah, and?" I said and she rolled her eyes.

"Doesn't she hate that?"

"Well, yeah. But, I think it's a beautiful name, and she's asleep, so she doesn't know that I said that." I said and Mali shook her head a bit.

"I'm telling her whenever she wakes up."

"You're acting like you're 5 years old, Mali. You're 24. Try to act your own age." I said and smirked.

"Shush, Hood."

"You shush, other Hood." I said and she laughed a bit.

"Have fun sleeping on the couch." Mali said before going upstairs.

I rolled my eyes a bit and laid down on the couch before pulling a blanket over me. It didn't take long for me to fall asleep.
