Call from: Anderson
I looked up at mike suddenly feeling guilty "i-i gotta take this" i said and his jaws locked before he nodded "Right. Of course. Take your time!" He said before he got out the car and angrily slammed the door.
I sighed and answered the phone.
And now he's angry again.
"Hello"
Continued:
"H-hey Alexis" Anderson stuttered
"Hey what's up?" I asked as I slowly got out the car to stand against it.
"So...Saturday?" He asked and I
winced.
"Yeah I was thinking around 8...we could grab a quick bite to eat then go to the movies." I said
"That'd be great! You don't know how glad I am your giving me a chance." He said and I smiled.
Maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all.
"Me too Andy."
I said before I hanged up the phone.
I got out the car and sighed as I looked up at Mikes house.
Tears clouded my vision as I looked away.
"Why am I doing this to myself?" I asked as I wiped the little tears away
"Lex..." I heard mikes voice and my head snapped towards him in alarm.
He had his hands shoved deep in his pockets as he looked at me bashfully.
"I made some popcorn...I thought maybe you'd want to watch a movie" he said and I smiled a little before nodding and following him inside.
"Are you OK?" He asked as we walked towards his room.
I looked away and and nodded not trusting my voice.
"Alright.... choose a movie I'll go get the popcorn." He said hesitantly then walked off to the kitchen.
I walked into his room and went straight for his shelves of movies that he had.
I quickly pulled out '10 things I hate about you,' that was my favorite movie, and popped it into the DVD player.
I sat back on his bed and sighed as thoughts of the last time I was here filled my mind.
I groaned and quickly played the movie to get my mind off of everything.
Why did I have To like someone who's in love with another?
"Hey! Nice of you to start the movie without me." Mike said as he joined me on the bed with a bowl of popcorn.
I blushed at how close he was to me.
"Sorry...I couldn't wait" I said and he looked at the movie and smiled
"that's actually one of my favorites...uhhh I mean....i-i-" he tried to cover up his mistake but I cut him off as I burst out laughing.
"Omg!!" I said as I tried to breath.
"Shut up!!" He groaned
"Awww that's so cute..Lil Mikey mike likes romance movies" I said as I squeezed his cheeks. He scowled and slapped my hands away.
"Shut up and watch the movie!" He said then slide his hands around my waist pulling me flush against his chest.
I froze and my whole body flushed.
"Relax!" He said and just like that I did.
I layed my head on his chest and continued to watch the movie but of course I couldn't focus.
How could I when I could feel every dent of his muscles against my body?
