"Lana let's go, we're gonna be late!" August yelled from down the hall. "Okay! I heard you the first three times!" I yelled back, pulling my shirt over my head. "Lana, do you know where my brush is?" Kamille yelled from her bathroom "why would I?" I asked. "Okay I'm leaving in two minutes, if you're not ready, you just won't go to school," August said popping into my room. I rolled my eyes "I'm ready geez!" I grabbed my bag and followed him downstairs. "Good morning, have a good day at school," my mom said before she kissed our cheeks. Me, Ivy, and August hopped in his car and pulled out of the driveway. My phone vibrated, it was a text from Kalin
K- where are you?
A- chillll I'm on my way, Aug is driving hella slow
K- lol hurry.
"Auggie, could you drive a little faster," I said annoyed. "Aye, I'm driving safe, I'm not trying to get a ticket," he said. "You can't get a ticket on a street full of houses!" Ivy butted in, I chuckled. August got his license a few days ago and mom constantly reminds him how much trouble he'll be in if he gets a ticket. After 15 minutes of driving, we finally pulled up at school. I quickly hopped out of the car and briskly walked into school, Kalin met me halfway in the hall. He pulled me into a hug "Whats up Lana?" He asked "nun just linked up with best friend," he chuckled.
