Everyone cheered once the ref announced our team as the victors. I stood outside, waiting for my siblings, August came out with my sisters following behind "ride with Kalin," Arden said with a wink. I did want to talk to Kalin about the whole thing, so I stood there. Kalin came out shortly after and wrapped his jacket around me, leading me to his truck. My phone rang as I hopped into the passenger seat, it was my dad:
Alana: hello?
Dad: where are you?
Alana: I'm with Kalin, the rest of them are on their way home with Aug, why?
Dad: okay just making sure you're safe. I heard you and Kalin kissed today!
Alana: bye dad
I giggled as I hung up. Awkward silence hung there "Kalin... what was earlier about?" I asked "can we talk about this tomorrow? I'm not pushing you off, but there's a lot running through my mind right now," he said nicely. "Okay. But I am so sorry for going through your phone, I had no right, I swear I trust you, and it's none of my business I'll never do it again," I said sincerely. He chuckled "you're cute. I'm not mad okay," he said, I nodded, he grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers. We finally pulled up at my house "I'll see you tomorrow," I said about to open the door, he grabbed my arm and pulled me toward him. He attached his lips to mine once again, I pulled away, he bit his lip "bye," he said before I closed the door. I opened my house door, then quickly closed it, sliding down the wall as my heart melted. Arden came running downstairs "what happened?" She asked excitedly, I smiled "he kissed me again, but he's not ready to talk yet," I said. "I know," I said with a sigh.
