She stomped across the street until a black truck sped down the road, ramming into her. "Alana!" I yelled, running toward her lifeless body on the ground. "Alana please I love you, wake up," I said, pulling out my phone to call 911. After ten minutes, the ambulance, police, and fire department showed up. Medics quickly ran over to us and grabbed her "what happened?" A police officer asked "someone ran her over," I said, choking on my words. They loaded her into the ambulance "can I go?" I asked "who are you?" They asked, I hesitated "her boyfriend," I said, they nodded. I sat on the side, looking down at Alana as they pumped her with oxygen. Please wake up I said in my head you can't be dead, we didn't get married or have kids. I texted her mom to come to the hospital.
They rushed her to the back "wait here sir," a nurse said, I sat down and laid my head in my hands. "What happened?" Mrs.McCall asked, I looked up to see her,Mr.McCall, Arden, Kamille, and August. "She...someone ran her over," I said "where's Ivy?" Mr.McCall asked "I think she's still at the party," I said, not being able to think straight. Everyone sat down "I thought you and Alana broke up?" Mrs.McCall said. "I...um it's complicated. I did some bad things and I was so rude to her. I'm sorry," I said sincerely. "Kalin I'm sure you guys can work it out, Alana loves you I can tell." She said. I started to think about her, all of our fun times together, tears started dripping down my face. Ivy ran into the waiting room "what happened?" She asked "there was an accident," Mrs.McCall said. "It was you, you son of a bitch you did this!" She yelled at me "Ivy calm down. Come here right now," Mr.McCall said. "She's right. Alana wouldn't have went outside if it weren't for me," I said, getting up. "Kalin wait, it wasn't your fault," August said "I don't need to be here right now," I said walking away.
Next day
I decided to go back to the hospital. Ivy came toward me "hey I'm sorry about yesterday, that was kinda mean I was just mad," she said. "You had every right to be mad, I hurt her too many times," I said, she sighed. "Kalin no matter how much you hurt her, her dumbass loves your ugly ass," she said "wow a compliment on top of an insult, classic Ivy," I said, she walked away. "You want to see her?" Mrs.McCall asked, I nodded. She lead me to room 667 "I'll give you a few minutes," she said, closing the door. I sat in the chair next to her bed, she laid there unconscious. I spotted the necklace I gave her on the nightstand next to her bed, I smiled. "Hey Alana you probably can't hear me, but I just want you to know that I still love you, I never stopped baby girl. You're the love of my life, you make me so happy," I said, grabbing her hand. "Please wake up so I can tell you this while you're conscious," I said, rubbing the fold of her hand with my thumb.
"So what's going on with her?" I asked the nurse. "She has a major head concussion, if she doesn't wake in in the next 2 days, we're going to have to put her in a medical induced coma," she said, I nodded.
