Later
Kalin and I came home to Ivy lying on the couch. "Hi Ivy," Kalin said before running upstairs, she doesn't exactly approve him. "Hey sis what's going on?" I said, plopping next to her "mom and dad are basically on edge because August is leaving tomorrow, I had to get out of there," she said. "Well Ivy, August is their first born and only son, and did I mention he's moving to Oregon," I said. "I'm on edge too man, I love my brother," I said "and I do too, I don't think I'm ready for him to leave either, this is all so stressing," she said, lying her head on my shoulder. "You can spend the night and we can go together tomorrow," I said, she nodded. I went upstairs to Kalin on his laptop, I kissed his cheek "I don't know if I told you, but you know August is going to Oregon University and he's leaving tomorrow," I said. He hugged me "I'm gonna sleep downstairs with Ivy tonight?" I said, he nodded and pecked my lips. I grabbed a bunch of blankets and pillows before taking them downstairs. "Alright girls night," I said, throwing the pillows on top of her "really though?" She asked, pulling them off. "Yes, really let's hit the grocery store for snacks," I said, pulling her off the couch.
After our snack run, we built a fort in the living room before fallifn asleep.
Next morning
I felt Kalin kiss my cheek as I sleep, I opened my eyes. "Your mom says they're on their way to the airport," he whisper in my ear, I nodded. "Text me and let know how it goes I love you," he said kissing me again. I sat up on my elbow and woke Ivy up "we have to get ready, August is on his way to the airport," I said, she groaned, walking into the bathroom. I walked upstairs to me and Kaaim's bathroom and started to get ready
I grabbed my car keys and locked the door.Airport
We found our family in the waiting area, August with all his bags. He stood up and hugged us "man I'm really gonna miss you guys," he said, kissing our temples. Tears we're already flowing by this point "August you better not get out their being wild, I will whoop you," I said, he chuckled. "I'm about to leave and you're still trying to be my mom," he said hugging me again. "Flight 293 to Portland, Oregon is now boarding," the intercom said, we all did a group hug before he walked away. "I love you," he said, waving. That was the last time I saw him for a while.
