Sorry for the typos and errors. I didn't proofread this. 😩

"Nak?" RJ glanced up only to see his dad walk inside his room. He smiled, the nervousness he's feeling ever since he woke up that day slightly fading away.

"Dad," he greeted as he stood up from his chair, enveloping his dad in a tight hug.

"Nak, ramdam na ramdam ko kabog ng dibdib mo," Richard Sr. said, teasing his son as he pulled away from their hug. They both chuckled as the older man tapped his son's back, as if saying that everything's fine.

RJ just smiled at his dad and reached for his neck tie and started tying the thing around his neck. But his dad took the material from his hands and starting tying it himself.

"Alam mo, nak. I'm sure masayang masaya ang mommy mo ngayon. I know she's watching and I do know that she's really proud of what you've become. Alam kong palaging sinasabi ng mommy mo na pangarap nyang maging artista ka. Pero, nak, alam mo kung ano talaga ang pinaka pangarap nya para sayo?"

His dad adjusted the neck tie before patting his son's chest and looking into his eyes, happy to see genuine happiness radiating from his son's eyes.

"Ano yun, dad?"

"Pinaka pangarap ng mommy mo is makita kang masaya. She would always tell me then na gusto nyang makita kang ikasal sa babaeng magpapasaya sayo, nak. Though she may not be here physically, alam kong alam mong nandyan lang sya palagi," he pointed softly at his son's chest, where his heart is located, and continued, "at eto na nga, nak, matutupad mo na ang pinaka wish ng mommy mo para sayo. Ang makita kang masaya kasama ang babaeng kukumpleto sa buhay mo."

RJ couldn't keep the tears any longer. He let them all out as he reached for his dad and hugged him tightly, his tears silently flowing down from his eyes. He would do anything in this world just to have his mom right there with them. He would do anything just to have his mom witness him marry the woman who completed him in so many wonderful different ways.

But he knew that whatever he do, it wouldn't happen.

Ma, alam ko pong nakikita nyo lahat to. I know that you've always been there to see this moment unfold. Sana andito ka, ma. You know, I've always believed that you're my guardian angel. At naniniwala din po ako na together with God, you gave me Maine. You knew from the very start what kind of woman I need in my life. And you knew that Maine is the perfect one. So thank you, ma. Sobrang thank you. I just wish you're here with us but know that you'll forever live in our hearts. I miss you so much, ma. Mahal na mahal ko po kayo.

RJ said to himself, believing that his mom was listening to him.

"Oh, tama na iyak. Papanget ka nyan sige ka, baka umatras si Meng," his dad once again teased as he gave his son one last squeeze before releasing him. RJ wiped the tears away from his cheek as he glanced down at his clock.

10:37 am

Just a few hours more 'till it's time. And he just can't describe the exact feeling. He's nervous, excited, jittery, restless, but on top of all that, he's feeling loved and in love.

As if on cue, the door to his room opened once again and Baste and Matti entered.

"Gwapo, kuya Alden ha," Baste greeted as he hugged RJ.

"Pero mas gwapo ka, diba?" RJ teased and the younger boy grinned then nodded his head, remembering those times when they would say that he's more handsome than Alden Richards, and he was only just 3 years old back then.

"Hi, tito ninong," RJ turned his head and smiled fondly at Maine's nephew. RJ membered those times when Maine would drag him back to their Bulacan home and ask him if he could babysit Matti with her. He remembered stealing a kiss or two when they've successfully put Matti into sleep after so much fuss.
