HAPPY 32nd WEEKSARY, ALDUB! ❤️

-----------------------------------

I'm really confused as to why the production staff gave me a barong to wear. I mean it's Aldub's 32nd weeksary and it's a pretty special occasion for Aldub but a barong to wear? I say it's being over the top.

And they snatched Maine away from me- yes snatched because she was comfortably eating beside me when they hurriedly grabbed her hand and almost dragged her next door.  All I could do was sulk in silence while I continued eating.

I wonder what they have planned for today?

"Den, ready ka na in 3" Reeza said as I distractedly glanced at the TV.

"Si Meng?" I had to ask just because.

"Andun sa kabila. Lalabas din yun mamaya. Labas ka na nga. Lunukin mo na yang kinakain mo"

I opened the door and as soon as I saw the cameras focused on me, I started doing my thing. I walked like a model and thought to myself baka kaya pinasuot sakin tong barong para kunwari sample ng damit na gagamitin sa fashion show ni Divina.

So I strutted my stuff and walked like a professional model. I even climbed the metal stairs and showed off my strength as I pushed myself up on the metal bars. Heh

"Lola, andito po si Yaya eh."

I walked towards the door and knocked.

I wonder what she's wearing. I hope she's in white because her beauty radiates every time she's clad in white clothing.

I can hear shuffling inside the room and they seem kinda busy inside. I wonder what's going on behind this door. Maine kept telling me to go back to the stairs area or the makeshift garden but I just can't. I need to see her first before anything else.

"Kakantahan nalang kita" I said stubbornly as I knocked on the door once again. Then Maine laughed and oh how I love that sound.

"Mamaya na, Alden." Maine said but too late, the instrumental started playing and so I sang along.

"Dun ka muna. Dun dun dun." Then Maine let her hand out and all I could was hold it in mine and kiss it because I can. Have I mentioned that I love Maine's hands? They seem so delicate and whenever I would hold them, I feel complete. They are the softest hands I have ever held and I plan on holding them as long as she allows me to.

"Ikaw, Alden, halik ka ng halik. Mamaya hindi si Divina yan. Mamaya si Poleng pala yan"

And that's why you're wrong, lola Tinids. I know Maine's hand like the back of my palms. I could recognize her hand in a room full of people with my eyes blindfolded. I just have to touch it, then I'll know. Because she holds my heart in her hands. Cheesy, I know. But it's the truth.

"A" I heared Reeza shouted/whispered. I turned my head on her and continued singing. "Punta ka na dun sa tinuturo ni Meng. Tigas ng ulo mo" and I could only chuckle when I saw her scratch her head in annoyance.

I do as what I was told and made my way to the makeshift garden at the end of the hall. I was standing still when they told me to move a little to my right. And when I did, my line of sight was blocked by a wall. And there wasn't any LCD that I could glance to check if Maine is already out of the room.
