An Indestructible Letter

A week later Rose still didn't get a reply from Scorpius for all she cared. Rose sat down at the table with Hugo, her
mom, dad, James, Albus, and Lily, when an eagle owl swooped in and dropped five fancy letters with the Malfoy crest
on the table. Albus snatched them up all up and passed them to Rose, James, Hugo, and Lily.

"Hey Scorpius invited us to his parents New Years party!" Hugo shouted.

Rose groaned, got up from the table, and threw her invitation into the living room fire.

"Rosie! Why'd you do that?" exclaimed Lily. "I don't know why you broke up with him, he's so hot!"

Rose rolled her eyes at her younger cousin and went up to her room.

Scorpius P.O.V.

"Scorpius why don't you invite some of your friends from school. Rose seems to be a nice girl why haven't you owled
her lately?" his mother, Astoria, asked.

"I've tried but she won't reply."

"Don't jump to conclusions, she may just be busy."

"I'll invite James, Albus, Lily, Hugo, and Rose," Scorpius said taking some inventions from his mother.

Sending the invites out with his eagle owl, Trathy.

A couple days later a brown owl with white feathers here and there, came tapping on his window, which he recognized as the Weasley's family owl. He excitedly untied the letter and read,

Scorpius,

Can you please send another invitation to Rose? She burned hers right away once your owl delivered the invitations.

Albus

Scorpius wondered why she would burn it, but never the less sent another invite to Rose but this time made it so it
can't be burned, so it was basically indestructible.

Rose P.O.V.

"Stop laughing!" Rose shouted at her two annoying cousins, James and Albus.

"Just give up, you can't destroy it!" James said.

Rose tried to throw it into the fire for the seventh time but it just popped back out right next to her, good as new.

"Mom! Do I have to go to Malfoy's party?!"

Hermione came into the room with a soapy pan in her hand.

"Rose, you'll have to face him sooner or later, you can't just run away from your problems," her mother said soothingly.

"I'd rather face later than sooner."

"You'll have fun, it's on New Year's Eve anyway."

"Fine I'll go but don't expect me to have fun!"

Rose put on a strapless, knee length, aqua dress that her mother had picked out, like everything else she was going to
wear tonight. She pulled the curlers out of her hair that her mother had put in and let her hair fall into bouncy curls.
Her heart shaped neckless on neck shined like the stars above which matched her earrings.

"Hurry up Rose your taking forever!" screamed Hugo from down stairs who she ignored.

Putting on her silver heels on, putting her hand on the door knob, Rose grabbed a long tan over coat that covered her fancy dress that her dad probably would say is to fancy for a Malfoy.

"Finally, you took forever," complained Hugo who was wearing red dress robes.

"Shut up and lets go," said Rose. "Bye mom, bye dad, see you later."

"Bye sweetheart, try and have a good time," her mother said hugging her then saying goodbye to Hugo.

"Bye Rose, don't get to friendly with Malfoy," said her dad.

"Don't worry we broke up."

Rose pulled out her wand and apparated to Malfoy manor while holding onto Hugo. They appeared in the drive at Malfoy manor where it was pouring rain. Hugo and Rose rushed up the long winding driveway to the front door.
