Scorpius was reading Hogwarts a History when Rose walked in.

"Are you ready to get planning?" Rose asked as she closed the compartment door.

"He set his book down beside him and pulled out some rolls of parchment from his bag.

"I've been planning over night and this is what I came up with."

Scorpius unrolled a piece of parchment, revealing lots of arrows and codes.

"What is that?" Rose asked. "Your just making this way to hard. How about so I know it's the real you? What don't

people usually call you?"

"Scorp and Scorpi."

"Okay I'll call you Scorp and you can call me...... Thorn."

"Why do you have to suck all the fun out of everything?" Scorpius said playfully.

"Bye Scorpius, I have to go and teach Hugo about the properties of switching a table to a dog," she said getting up and

leaving.

Scorpius sighed and went to join his Slytherin friends.

Rose didn't come across anything suspicious until Valentines Day.

"Hey Scorp," she said happily as she skipped over to him outside of Honeydukes.

"Ugh! That's a horrible nickname!" he exclaimed.

"Okay, I'll call you Scorpius then."

"I mean we should break up! Can't you get a simple message, you idiot of a Gyffindor!"

"Fine I'll leave you alone. Can I at least have a goodbye kiss?"

"Fine, if it'll get your disgusting aura out of my presence," he said nastily. Rose turned away from him digging in her purse.

"Stupefy! furnunculus! Desaugeo!" Rose said quickly whipping around with her wand.

He fell to the ground with boils all over his face, teeth so enlarged that they were to the neck bone. Rose cast her patronus (a zebra) which galloped to Hogwarts with a message.

Levitating his petrified body into the air, Rose made her way down the path that led to the shrieking shack. There was

no need to be afraid of the shack anymore. The wailing and other strange noises coming from it years ago were only

from her dad's friend who went there to transform into a werewolf, but for some reason after the war, people just

started becoming more afraid, so that gave Rose a place for some alone time. She placed him on a chair and tied him

up with a body binding jinx. Rose stood in front of him, studying his features, when the door burst open, revealing a windswept Scorpius. He rushed over to Rose and the his tied up look alike.

"Hey Thorn, what happened to me?" Scorpius asked looking at his look alike.

"Nothing, I just hexed him into oblivion," she said innocently.

He smirked at her giving her a small hug.

"What are we going to do with him?" Rose asked.

"We can't really have him arrested for trying to brake us up," he said.

"Scorpius! I know he tried to brake us up but he's still you grandfather."

"I'm at least getting a decent explanation from him."

Scorpius unpetrified and untied him, keeping a close eye on him.

"Why are you trying to break us up?" Scorpius asked annoyed.

"Fecuse 'he's sill a Weasley!"

Rose looked at him quizzically when he said, "I think because his teeth a enlarged that he can't talk right. But if I'm right

he said, because she's still a Weasley."

"That doesn't have to do with anything, just because my parents and you and grandma never got along with the Weasleys doesn't mean we have to hate each other," said Scorpius.

"Ut 'he's yust ike er udlood o'her!"

"What?"

"Udlood o'her an lud hader a'her!"

"I don't under stand! But it was probably something nasty."

"I ad a uff!" Lucius exclaimed leaping up and stunning Scorpius before he could react.

Rose caught him under the arms but his weight anchored down, making her land on her knees with scorpius on her lap, which gave Lucius time to run and escape. As he was almost at the door Rose grabbed her wand, wedged between her and Scorpius, sending a stunning spell towards him, but he ducked and continued out the door, while the spell rebounded off a mirror and

nearly missed her.

"Rennervate," said Rose, watching as Scorpius got up. It's fine, I'll talk to him at home," said Scorpius.

They stood in front of Hogwarts as Hugo ran out of the castle looking a little green in the face.

"I'm totally grossed out. Someone set off a stink bomb in potions class. I thought I could get some fresh air out here

without being grossed out."

"I think we can help," said Rose.

She pulled Scorpius close to her, and they stood there giving him a kiss, which he returned, as Hugo gaged at the sight. This was Rose's picture perfect moment she had been dreaming about for years. Most likely not who she thought she would be with, but everything worked out greatly.
