Hugo knocked on the door and a second later they were face to face with Scorpius, who was wearing emerald green
dress robes.
"Hey Rose come in," Scorpius said politely.
Rose glared at him as she stepped in the doorway beside Hugo. His living area was huge, there was a sitting area with various choices of lounge chairs, a bar counter, dance floor, small tables for two or three, polished oak floors, the kitchen led from the living glass door so you could watch them cook, two large stair cases with velvet carpet that led to upper floors, and a door to the side of the room which she figured was the bathroom. She found lots of people from school and other people from the ministry, probably invited by his parents.
Rose unbuttoned her coat and hung it on a rack by the door. She got lots of wows and you look nice comments, did
she really look that good?
"Wow, you look amazing," said Scorpius.
Rose rolled her eyes at him but said, "Thanks," anyway.
"Hugo ran off to join James, Albus, and Lily leaving Rose with Scorpius.
"Why have you been giving me the cold shoulder?"
"You don't have to talk nicely to me, I didn't really choose to be here," Rose said coldly.

After hours of dancing with Albus and avoiding Scorpius, Rose was exhausted. It was like Scorpius was trying to talk
to her, which he was. Albus and her were sitting down at a small table drinking butterbeer, Rose didn't notice Albus
making eye contact with someone behind her, since she was busy looking around Albus, keeping an eye out for
scorpius but couldn't find him any where. Someone grabbed Rose by the arm with out warning, and pulling her up to
a standing position, which made Rose let out a small squeal of surprise.
"What the? Scorpius? What are you doing?"
"I need to talk to you in private. I don't get why you're ignoring me."
"You should know, also didn't you get the message in my letter or do I need to say it for you?"
"What letter?" he asked.
"Don't pretend you don't know what I'm talking about."
"I'm serious Rose, I have no idea what you're talking about," Scorpius said more seriously.
"I'm not falling for your tricks again you jerk."
"Rose follow me," Scorpius said dragging her up the left spiral stair case.
"Where are we going?" Rose asked pulling her hand out of his grasp.
"To my room."
"Why?"
"Because I want to talk to you in private."
Rose followed him up the rest of the stairs, her hand near her purse just in case she needed her wand. Scorpius led her down dozens of halls and stair cases that she lost track of where she was. Finally they came to the end
of a hall and he opened the door. His room was as large as her living room, a green and silver four poster bed in the
middle, a writing desk against the wall to her left, a closet next to that, and a huge window on the opposite wall.
