Aly's pov

"It's a piece of junk!"
"What happened to wanting to spend our last night together... You know, together?!"
"Well it's not a national treasure, but I'm sure it could be used for something. Don't look at me like I'm a hoarder that's rude!"
I had been listening to the three of them argue for the past few minutes, I agreed with Alex. Just because what we found wasn't pretty, or proof that the neighborhood destroyers didn't have the right, we could still go on an adventure.
"GUYS!!!!" I screamed. They shut up, "Alex is right. We can still have fun even if we aren't on a treasure hunt anymore."
"You just think that's because you are like, in love with him!" Said Tuck. He slapped his hand over his mouth. That was low. He's my brother, we tell each other most stuff, and everything is confidential, and he broke our pact.
"Ok." I said and walked away in silence, "don't follow me, I'm going over to Jillian's house. At least she keeps her promises." I was done with all of them. Munch ran after me.
"Yes, you can come." I said, knowing my Secret Keeper only too well.
"Really?!"
"Yeah. So far you have helped me mediate Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum over there, and they don't even care about what this night was supposed to be. Our last night together. Not the night where our five year friendship falls apart. So yeah, you can come and finally ask Jillian out. She is totally crushing on you anyway."

Alex's pov

What. Just. Happened? I found out that Aly has a crush on me in the worst way possible, and I know that you probably are like, but what about when you were like crying in each other's arms? That wasn't really that even close or... Ok I give up.
"What the heck man?!" I snapped at Tuck. He didn't have the right! Aly deserved to have her secrets kept!!
"Dude, everybody knew!" Tuck defended, "even you knew!"
"It's still not your place!"
"I'm her brother!"
"So?"
"She wasn't going to tell you anyway!"
"Whatever. How do you know that?" I finally thought of something, "Let's beat her to Jillian's house. I can text Munch. He can stall. We can do this, and you can apologize, to both of us."
"Fine," Tuck gave in, "call Munch."

Aly's pov

Munch was on the phone, I was carrying his backpack, when my phone wacked out with a new map, and then there was that thing. Oh my French fries.
We followed the map after Munch texted someone, but when we got there, Alex and Tuck were there. At this barn by a house filled with the shouts of a fighting couple. I didn't want to deal with them. I turned around to leave, when that thing, flipped out.
There was stuff everywhere, and there was this thingy flying around the room. It flew towards me, and I thought, this is the end of  Alyss Hardt Simms, goodbye. And then I was knocked over by something. Or someone.
"Hi." I said. Alex was literally laying on top of me, "Thanks."
"No problem, Al. Anything for the girl of my dreams." He said, and got up, and walked away.
Oh. My. French fries!!!! Cue acting like a girl for the first time in a long time.
