Chapter 37

Joey's POV
I woke up and Crystal was still asleep. I left a note saying that I was getting some groceries at whole foods. I got ready first and then got into my car and drove off to whole foods. "Should I tell Crystal what I saw at Luke's with Lisa and Sawyer?", I thought to myself.

I probably should I mean Cat is one of our closest friends and we should be the ones there to comfort her.

I got into whole foods and picked up some eggs, bread, oatmeal, and some chicken for lunch. I quickly payed for everything and got back in my car. While I was driving I thought to myself. "Why don't I pay Sawyer a visit and ask him what the heck was going on.

"Hey...", I said as Sawyer opened the door. "Listen Joey I'm so sorry you had to see that it wasn't what it looked like.", he said, nervousness in his voice. "Yeah Yeah I'm tired of that crap, just admit it Sawyer you cheated on your girlfriend.", I shouted. "Calm Down Joey it's fine it's not like she's your girlfriend or something chill out.", he shouted.

"Yeah she's not my girlfriend, but I don't think it's okay to do something like that to someone that you supposedly loved.", I shouted again. "Joey just sit down there is something I need to tell you.", Sawyer said still sounding nervous and his voice cracking a little.

"What is that", I said sitting down on the couch. Sawyer say beside me. "That's the thing.... I don't really love.... Cat.", he said looking at the ground. "Okay... That's fine maybe you guys weren't really meant to be.", I said trying to bring in a positive attitude.

"Well there is a couple more things....", Sawyer sighed. "What?", I said. "Well since your...well my best friend I can tell you anything.", he sighed again. "Yeah you know that", I said worried now. "Okay I'm just going to say it...... I think I'm gay.", he said bursting into tears.

"Sawyer that's okay don't be afraid it's fine. I am still your friend and I imagine everyone else will be super supportive.", I said patting his back. "Thank you for understanding it's just that, I guess I wasn't feeling any attraction there with Cat. So I just thought I just didn't like her anymore. So that night when I went to Luke's I found Lisa. I tried to kiss her and stuff but I felt nothing there with girls. So that's when I kind of knew.", Sawyer sighed.

"Hey it's okay I'm glad you told me.... Do you want me to tell Crystal?", I asked. "Yeah you can I would like her to know too, and you can tell her my whole story.", Sawyer said getting up off the couch. "I'm going to go back upstairs now I will see you soon I guess I don't know when, thanks for being so supportive.", he said going upstairs.

"Yeah no problem I'll see you later.", I said going out of the door.

Wow. I never thought Sawyer was gay. But I'm glad that he told me. Now to tell Crystal.

"Crystal?", I said opening the door. "There you are I was wondering where you were.", she said coming up to me and kissing my lips. I liked how she had to get on her tiptoes to kiss me it was cute.

"Yeah I just went to whole foods and then to Sawyers.", I said. "Oh okay well how was Sawyer?", she asked. Here it goes, the moment where I have to tell her everything.

I began to tell Crystal everything that Sawyer had told me even that he cheated on Cat.

"Wow I never thought of that but I'm glad he's okay though, we'll have to see him soon I don't want him to feel lonely.", she smiled.

I loved how much she loved people and how her heart was so big. She taught me how to love again. Even when I thought nobody cared.

Crystal's POV
Joey was making breakfast, now was the perfect time to get his big present ready. I went upstairs and took the thing out of the box. I used it and waited for the results. After they came back I got some tissue paper and put it in the bottom of the box. Then I put the thing in the box on top of the paper. And then I put a pice of paper on top of the gift.

I taped up the box and then wrapped it and put it under my bed. I made sure the box to the gift was away so no one could see. Then I went downstairs. "Hey there you are, breakfast is served my love.", Joey smiled Thank you", I blushed. "So what were you doing upstairs?", he asked. "Oh just wrapping presents", I smiled.

"Oh okay, well are you excited for Christmas?", Joey asked. "Yeah, I was thinking we could have are own little Christmas here and then go to Kalel's Annual Christmas swap.", I said eating some of my breakfast. "Yeah that's fun", he smirked.

"Christmas is pretty soon", he said. "I know I'm excited I said getting up to put my plate in the sink. I came back and Wrapped my arms around the back of his neck. "Hey you", he smiled.

"Haiiii", I said sniffing his hair. "I love your hair it smells so good", I giggled. "Hey... I thought I smelled good too.", he pouted. "I know you do that's one of the things I love about you.", I smiled leaving a peck on his neck. "Come here", he said standing up and picking me up to wrap my legs around his waist. He started to kiss me deeply. A really passionate kiss, one that meant something. "Why are you so adorably cute", he sighed into my neck. "I like that... Adorably cute.", I giggled. "I love you", I said kissing his nose. "I love you more", He said kissing me.
