Chapter 11

Joey's POV
My stomach was in knots I couldn't believe what I just heard. My girlfriend is in a coma. I grabbed my hair and started to pace back and forth. I quickly ran in to get Sawyer and Shane. "Joey, there you are so what do you think about that idea for a collab project"my manager said. I couldn't think at all my mind was blank and my words couldn't come out.
"Uhh...umm can I have a minute please I need to go to the bathroom.", I stuttered. I ran twords the nearest bathroom and threw up. My head was pounding I was rocking back and forth having axsiety.

Sawyer's POV
Joey rushed to the bathroom on quick notice I wonder if everything was okay. It's weird he ran out just after a phone call. I am going to go check on him anyways. "Uhh. I'm gonna go to the bathroom to make sure he's okay", I said. They quickly let me out and I rushed to the bathroom.

Joey's POV
I stood up and washed my face off. I just needed to think. "Crystal is going to be okay just breathe", I said to myself. "Dude,are you okay?", Sawyer said running into the bathroom. "No...", I cried. "Crystal is in a coma and I don't know what to do", I said my head in my hands. "Well you got to fly back to L.A...", he said. "That's what I'm probably going to do its just this stupid meeting they probably won't let me go!", I said wiping my tears away. "F it dude go see your girlfriend she should be way more important than this YouTube meeting. You need to go see her"."I am gonna try to go tonight", I said washing my face again. "Yeah, make a flight tonight and go see her in the morning.", Sawyer said." You can tell them that it's an emergency and they will let you go I'm sure.", Sawyer said again. "Thanks man", I said. "Don't mention it that's what best friends do.", he replied.

I finished up then meeting that day and called the bosses and said that I couldn't go because my girlfriend was in the hospital. Sawyer helped me get the quickest flight back to L.A. When I got back to my room I packed up my things and Sawyer drove me to the airport. "Just keep saying she is going to pull through I know she will", Sawyer said calmly. "Thanks",I said. Soon after I boarded my flight. I tried to keep my mind off of it but I couldn't. My mind kept wandering off to the idea that she wasn't going to be okay. The flight felt extra long. When I landed I immediately went to Anthonys and he drove me to the hospital."I heard what happened and I was just going to see Kalel and the others. "Yeah, have you Crystal at all", I said getting into the car having trouble to sit still. "Yeah I went and saw her this morning when they all got into the ER.", Anthony replied.

"Is she doing alright like how is she?", I asked. "I don't know dude I mean she isn't real aware of anything but the doctors said that her breathing and heart rate is stable.", Anthony said pulling into the parking lot. We went up to the floor she was on and I was passing all the rooms until I saw Knight written on the name plate. I walked in and saw her laying there lifeless. She was so beautiful despite the cuts and bruises on her face. "I'm going to give you some privacy",Anthony said walking out. I walked over to her and grabbed her hand. " I know you may not see me but I'm hear and I know for sure that if you hear me you know who I am. I love you so much I am praying that you wake up soon. I miss you so much. I am in love with you." I said kissing her hand.

My eyes never looked away from her face. I put a piece of her hair behind her ear and kissed her cheek. "I love you Crystal", I whispered in her ear. Anthony came in and sat in the chair next to me. "Everything is going to be alright", he said patting me on the back. I started crying and Anthony got me a tissue. "How are the others doing", I said wiping my eyes. "There doing good I think they're free to go home tomorrow.", Anthony said.

"How are we doing you guys", a tall man with gray hair said checking on Crystal. "Good I guess how is she gonna be?", I asked looking down at the floor. "Well we are checking on her every hour and her heart rate and breathing are stable. But there is a chance that she might loose her memory when she wakes up. "Oh...okay", I said nodding. I felt my throat clench up a little I just had to stay calm. "She should wake up pretty soon her heart rate is going back up to normal.", the doctor said. I just looked down. "Don't worry she is in good hands she going to be okay", he said walking out.

"Are you going to be spending the night with her", Anthony said getting up. " Yeah I would feel better if I did that I want to be with her.", I said smiling. "Okay I mean we can go get your stuff from Meghan's and I can drop you back off in like an hour.", Anthony said. "Yeah okay awesome!",I said getting up. "Let's go get my stuff now.", I said. I knew this was going to be a long night.
