Joey's POV

Douchebag came back to our table and I gave Crystal a look.

She nodded and gave me a smirk back.

"Here's your water love", He winked.

I looked at his name tag, Cooper, what an ugly name.

I laughed at myself for thinking of what we were going to do.

He then gave me my water and I gave a fake smile.

"Now are you two ready to order", he smiled at Crystal.

"Yeah, I'll just have the grilled chicken", I fake smiled.

"Okay", Cooper sighed

"And for the pretty lady", his eyes lit up. What a weirdo.

"I'll have the chicken Parm", Crystal laughed.

Nervous laughter, I know my girl.

"Nice, we actually have really good chicken Parm here, it's amazing.", he touched her shoulder.

"Yeah haha thanks", Crystal said, blood rushing to her cheeks.

"That was weird", I grabbed her hand and laughed.

We waited a little while longer and when Cooper came back he brought our dishes as him and Crystal struck up a quick Conversation.

I give Crystal a wink and she nodded showing that she knew what the plan was to scare Cooper off.

"But yeah, I'm just here with my brother, he's taking me out to dinner to get away from my boyfriend...he's abusive... And the father of my child", she sighed

Wow this is going really well Crystal is making it so believable.

"Awww I'm sorry honey, do you know what it's going to be yet", Cooper smiled.

"Yeah, unmm here's my number if you need any help with the baby or anything like that.", Cooper wrote it down on a napkin.

Cooper came back with the bill and I got my wallet out.

"Why do you have to pay for everything", she sighed shaking her head.

"That's just how it works munchkin", I smiled.

"Okay love, we're going with the plan", I said getting out of our booth and squeezing Crystal's hand.

"Yeah, I've got it", she smirked looking across at Cooper.

I let go of Crystal's hand and walked behind her towards the front where Cooper was.

"Thanks Cooper Bye", Crystal waved.

That was my cue.

When Cooper was looking over at us I turned Crystal around and planted a kiss on her lips.

"Bye Cooper, thanks for taking care of my sister", I snarled, trying to play off as a douchey character.

"Bye Cooper!", I waved fakely.

"Okay bye dude, you do you", he said confused.

"That was amazing did you see the look on his face", Crystal laughed getting in the car.
