Chapter 24

Crystal's POV

"Okay we are here", David said pulling into the parking lot. "So far I've texted Kalel, Anthony, Cat, Sawyer, Shane, and Luke.", Meghan said smiling. "And I guess they will be here in five minutes. "Great", I said pulling out my phone to look on Instagram.

A couple minutes later we saw Kalel and Anthony pull into the parking spot beside us. "Hey Chica",I said getting out of the car to hug Kalel. " Hey Girl", she said returning my hug. Anthony got out of the car to say hi to everyone. "So good to see you guys", Anthony said giving Joey and I hugs.

"Hey can I get s table for eight please", David said at the front. "Yes sir follow me to the table", a blond girl said. She sounded just like Lisa. I did a double take and it was the evil girl that tried to hook up with my boyfriend. I turned around and gave Joey a look.

The thing about me and Joey is that a lot of the times we talked with our eyes. Joey could always read me so easily. He could tell how I was feeling every second. But the look I was giving him was showing shock and worry.

"Everything is fine honey", Joey said whispering in my ear as he took my hand and followed behind David to our table. "Fancy seeing you here", Lisa glared at me while putting out silverware on the table. I sat down next to Joey in the booth and Kalel and Anthony across from us and Meghan and David sitting in some chairs next to Joey.

"Oh my gosh was that freaking Lisa", Meghan whispered. "Yeah I wouldn't think she would be working at IHOP", I sighed. "Hey everyone", Sawyer came in leading all the others to our table. I got up to hug all of them. "Tell us everything that happened in Pittsburgh", Cat said hugging me. "Sure", I said trying to smile. "We all have some exciting news for you and Joey, and we all wanted to wait until you guys got back.

"Okay cool", I said excitedly sitting back down next to Joey. I felt him squeeze my hand trying to reassure me that i didn't have to worry about Lisa. "So what can I get you guys", Lisa said coming to our table. I didn't want to hold a grudge between us but I just don't really trust her even if i tried to be friends with her. We all ordered starting with Shane the tension in the room was strong. I could see Lisa gritting her teeth at Shane and him fidgeting in his seat.

"I will have a water please thank you", Shane said nervously. Lisa took the rest of our orders and went to the back. "Whats wrong dude you look upset", Sawyer said turning to Shane. "Well i guess we can start off the news right now. I-I- dumped Lisa", Shane said getting quiet. "What happened", I said. "She was being so rude to me and she cheated on me too i walked in on her and her Ex having sex.", Shane said back. Everyone gasped at the table. "That's it I'm done with her I knew she was no good", i said getting angry. Joey pulled me into his chest to try and calm me down he could tell I was about to go off. "Thank you" I said kissing his cheek. "No problem cutie", he said hugging me tighter. "Okay here we go again. Don't make me tell everyone at the table what y'all were doing in my car.", David laughed. The room got dead silent and then everyone started to laugh.

Lisa came back to the table with our drinks we all glared at her this time but she didn't notice us. She got all of our orders and went away again. "Shes so dumb", Cat rolled her eyes. "Anyway news", she said smiling and looking at Sawyer. "Okay... So Sawyer and I are dating now", she blushed. "Oh my goodness I'm so happy for you but y'all better watch out because me and Joey are still the hottest couple in our group you guys have some competition. Joey chuckled to himself and rubbed my back.

"Okay so I guess I can tell you all the big crap story that happened in Pittsburgh.",I said looking at Joey. He nodded and i started to tell the story in every detail of what happened. After i was done telling my story everyone was speechless. "Crystal Im so sorry", Cat said. You guys are basically the only people i would tell anything too. Your all my best friends.", I said smiling. "Of course and we are going to do everything we can to protect you and Joey. Our orders came to the table and we all started to eat. "Is anyone else going to share any other news", Joey asked nodding at sawyer . No one spoke except i saw that Sawyer was holding a camera. Joey was blushing and pulled out a small velvet box.

"Crystal I love you so so much. I promise to never hurt you and i promise to keep you safe. I promise to love you with all of my heart. We may not have a lot but we have each others love. Crystal Knight will you... Promise me.", Joey said crying. "Yes", I said kissing him. "Babe its a promise ring that will one day be replaced with your wedding ring. I wanted to make a promise to you that I will trust you and i will love you with my whole heart. I Love You", Joey said wiping away my tears away with the pad of his thumb. I kissed him i didn't care who was watching I Just loved him.

"Okay we approve you guys", Sawyer said shutting off the camera. "Joey how did you do this" I said looking at the beautiful emerald promise ring. "I have my ways", Joey smirked.
