Joey's POV

The pills were shining on the bathroom counter. I felt my pain rising up deep inside me.

I couldn't stop my hands from picking the bottle up.

They were Crystal's painkillers from when she had Joshua.

Even thinking about her name made my whole body ache.

She was gone, what I did was and is the biggest mistake of my entire life.

I hated myself for it, I would never see her again, or my son.

Damn I missed them so much, but they'll never come back to me even if I tried.

What's taking pills gonna do for me, what's the point of even living when you have nothing to live for?

I'm sorry Crystal , I'm just so sorry that I fell in love with you, I'm so sorry that I had to pursue you, but screwed up. And now what.

I grabbed the bottle and shook it till the amount of pills was bigger than half of my palm.

My eyes looked down at them, wondering if I should go through with this.

Why not, what's the point of even living when you have nothing else to live for.

And down my throat the pills went.

Anthony's POV

"I swear if Joey isn't home I'm going to hunt him down", I snarled.

"Like why in the hell would he do something like that, to such a sweet girl too, Crystal didn't deserve that, she didn't", I snapped.

"Anthony, relax Joey , I don't know maybe he went through a lot of things", Kalel said softly

"Like freaking what ? ", I snarled back

"I don't know crap like everyone else!", Kalel rolled her eyes.

"And why the hell are you taking his side aren't you supposed to be Crystal's best friend?", I shouted.

"Well I don't know Anthony cause by the looks of it back there at Cat's you said it was her fault which it was.", Kalel shouted back .

I dismissed our conversation and rolled my eyes.

"Joey if you don't freaking open this door I'm breaking it down!" I screamed.

"1..."

"Anthony--", Kalel said

"2..."

"3..."

"Alright I'm coming in", I screamed busting the door open.

"Joey where the hell are you ? ", I shouted making my way upstairs.

"Anthony! You can't just---", Kalel said following me.

"Holy crap Kalel come here Kalel please come here", I cried.

"Anthony what's wrong ? " , she shouted running upstairs.

"He's dead", I said hysterical.

"Who ?" , she cried.

"Joey!!!"
