Sorry if the prologue and chap 1 are mixed up as it wouldn't let me publish it if you are confused then here is a quick explanation The Nexus and vex are based off of a game I really like to play Destiny it's a big online multiplayer game with joint campaign.
Sorry for this authors note being so long but here's the story.

My head pounds like a drum pulling me out of my sleep. My lead like eyelids beg to close but I force them open. I slowly climb out of bed and amble through to the kitchen sudden patches of memory's hit me.
The first of me gunning down aliens and robots with two people at my side doing the same.
The next memory patch is of me and five others stepping through the abyss guns aimed high scanning the gently light cave.
My surroundings come back to me and I'm back in my kitchen in my one bedroom flat.
