Merry Christmas!

Harper's P.O.V.

I woke up and got dressed. I wore a red tank top with a Christmas tree and black shorts. I put my hair in a high side ponytail and put a big green and red bow in. I brushed my teeth. I looked at my calendar and saw that today was Christmas Eve! I ran to the kitchen to find my mom and dad making breakfast.
"Hi, honey. Cute outfit." Mom said.
"Thank you." I said as I sat sown at the table.
"Harper, I have two questions for you. First, are you excited for tonight? And, do you want to be in a video with us?" Dad asked. I gasped!
"Yes and absolutely!!" I yelled.
"Perfect! So here's how it works." Dad explained how it worked. By the time he was done, we were finished eating. We went into the recording room and started.
"Hey guys. And welcome back to another video. This episode we have a very special person who I want you to meet. Please don't hate on her. Introducing Harper." Dad said. I walked in and sat down in a chair between a them.
"Pat and I just adopted this little sunshine about a month ago." Mom said.
"Hey, guys. My name is Harper." I said shyly.
"Today we will be asking questions about who she is  and what she likes." Dad says.
" First, what is your favorite color?" Mom asked.
"Pink and black." I said.
P-"Food?"
"Mac and Cheese ."
J-"Sport?"
"Softball and dance."
P-"Mob?"
"Horse or skeleton."
J-"Do you know how to play Minecraft?"
"Yes."
P-"Who's your best friend."

Pats P.O.V.

"Who's your best friend."
I looked at Harper and I knew something was wrong. I reached forward and stopped the recording. Right as I did so, Harper burst into tears.
"What's wrong, Harper?"
"H-Her." Harper said and fell to her knees, pointing at Jen.
"What did I do." Jen asked, clearly dumbstruck.
"N-Nothing. I just want you t-to pick me up." Harper said. Jen rushed forward and picked her up. Jen rocked her for a while.
"I'll be right back."  Harper said and ran to her room.  She calmed down. She brought back a picture. (Picture. Harper left Maddie right.) "We got our hair done and everything!!!!!!" She paused. "I just want to see her one more time."
"What about Jane?" I asked. She didn't answer.
"How 'bout we get you cleaned up and start the video again." She nodded .

-Time Skip End Of The Video-  Jens P.O.V.
"HARPER, COME HERE PLEASE!!!!!"  Pat yelled. Harper came running .
"Yes father?" She said in a really cute, fake, British accent.  I laughed and started to tickle her. She laughed really hard. Pat picked her up and set her on the counter.
"You know how on  the day you got diabetes and I said I was going to sign you up for dance?" Pat said. Harper nodded.
"Your first class stars on Monday."
"Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Harper said, slid into the splits and did jazz hands. It was adorable.
"I can't do that! OUCH!!!!" I laughed as Pat slid so his legs were about 3 feet apart. Harper laughed so hard, and that her face was red and she had wrapped her arms around my waist for support.
"Ok, let's get to bed, so Santa can come." I said. Harper did a front walkover, turned around and made a peace sign.

Harper's P.O.V.
"You know I'll never be able to go to sleep, right?" I asked them. They laughed and left the room. Soon enough I drifted off to sleep.

-Time skip to morning-

I woke up in the morning and jumped out of bed. I ran to the living room to see Mom and Dad sitting there with their phones on camera. Over the presents, there was a big blanket.
"Let's start with the stockings." Dad said. I nodded. He uncovered the stockings. Mom and Dad got gift cards and one of their newest shirts. I got candy, $30, also one of their newest shirts.
"Present time!!!" Mom cheered. I got Beats headphones, an iPad, some new black Under Armor tennis shoes, a lot of big bows and a lot more!
"Thank you so so so so so so so so so much!" I said giving them a hug.
"Today, we will make a Parcore  video, alone." Dad said, adding 'alone' because of the terrified look on my face.
"Then, Jens family will come over." I nodded and we ate.

-Time Skip To Jens Fam Coming- Jens P.O.V.

Today my family is coming over. I hope they like Harper.  If they don't I'm playing with Harper in her room for the whole time they're here.
Knock. Knock
Oh,crap...
"Let's see the girl!" Mom demanded. I held Harper's hand and Mom looked at her.
"Hmmm. She's by far the worst one you could have gotten. And..." Mom said and poked her tummy. "She's too fat." Pointing to her thighs and stomach. Harper turned and looked at me with tears in her eyes.
"Mom!" I scolded, picked Harper up and ran to the kitchen.
"What happened?" Pat asked when her saw Harper's tear tracked face.
"My mom called her fat. And said she was the worst child you could have gotten." I told him, mad. He threw his head back.
"That's why I'm going to her room to play with her."
"Jen, we have to record. Ask your brother to watch her." Pat said. I took a deep breath.
"Ok." I said and took Harper to the living room. After I got Harper settled, I want to the recording room.

-Time skip 7 minutes of the recording-
Pat said, "Wouldn't it be a shame if you were to-" Pat was cut off by a scream. He stopped the recording and we ran to the living room. When we got there, we saw my mom with Harper kicking and screaming in her arms.
"Shut up, brat! My daughter is too good for you." Mom said and slapped her face so hard Harper was unconscious.
"MOM!!!!" I screamed. She looked up, smiled and ran out of the house. While she was running to her car she threw Harper into the back seat. We ran outside and watched my mom drive away...with our daughter, unconscious in the back seat.
