"Louis! When is he coming?"

Johannah is pacing all around the kitchen preparing dishes and checking on the stove. "He'll come! He promised," Louis yelled from the living room. I swear if he doesn't come, he thought, I'll hurt him. He checks the time on his phone and sighed. I knew I shouldn't have-

The doorbell rang and Louis immediately sprinted to the door. Liam stood there with a smile on his face and a batch of cookies in his hands. "Hello! Brought some sweets for the-"

"Don't care, come in," Louis whispered as he pulls Liam into the house. Johannah walks from the kitchen towards the pair, "Liam! Welcome!" He walks towards her to give her a hug, "Hello miss. Brought this for the family." She smiled and kissed him on the cheek.

Louis stood there, scratching his head. "Don't just stand there, Lou. Dinner is ready!" They walk to the table and Louis' sisters were there already. They all smiled and greeted him excitedly. They were not like this when I came home today! Louis sat down in his seat and glared at Liam.

"Do you have a job?" Johannah asked as she takes a bite of the cookie Liam brought. "Not yet, I'm still looking for one. It's going to be hard because I have uni and there will be tons of work."

Louis pokes his food as he listens to the conversation. The whole dinner was his mother and sisters asking Liam questions and giving him compliments. He's ready for him to leave and get the whole thing over with.

He startled when he felt a hand on his knee and looked up to see Liam still smiling and talking with his mom, and it was his hand that was on Louis' knee. It was comforting, but Louis sighed and offered to clean the dishes. He shouldn't even be annoyed, he should be happy. It's probably because his family loves Liam too much, although that was the plan.

As he was cleaning his plate, Liam comes up next to him with a smile. "Lou! They really like me! Are you- Wait. What's wrong?" Liam places his hand on his shoulder with a concerned look. Stop being so nice. Louis places his plate down in the sink and looks at Liam right in the eye, "You're too good. You're so good that it makes me mad."

Liam chuckles and brings Louis into his arms. "It makes it believable, right?" Louis hugged back, "Thank you for doing this. For me."

"Like I said, anything for you."

They stood there for a few minutes, embracing each other, then Liam pulled away. "Since it looked like you had a semi-bad night, let me make it up to you," Liam said. Louis furrowed his eyebrows, "What? You don't have to do anything. You can go home." He shook his head and grabbed his hand.

Liam drags Louis out of the kitchen and tells his mother that they both will be going somewhere. "Oh! Yeah, go have fun! Don't go too crazy," Johannah says with a wink. Louis swore his whole face turned red.

They both approach Liam's car and Liam opens the door for Louis. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. He gets in as he mumbles out a 'thank you.' Liam gets in as well, then he froze. It looked like he had an idea, and he reached to intertwine their fingers. "Take a picture and post it somewhere," Liam mumbled. Louis stared at him for a minute, then slowly took out his phone. His heart was racing and he just wants him to stop being so fucking adorable.

Louis took the pic and posted it on Instagram with the caption 'With me man !'

Liam pulls his car up at the place he had in mind, which was a movie theater. "It's not much, but I do really want some popcorn and sour candy," Liam says with a small smile. "You idiot, let's go then!" Louis says as he quickly gets out of the car.

They both ended up racing each other to the theater and they were breathless. "I won!" "No, I won!" Louis loved it when they have moments like this, having fun and not giving a shit about everyone judging them. Liam smacks Louis in the arm and says, "Come on, let's see which movie we should watch."

As they wait in line for their tickets, Liam wraps his arms around Louis and rested his chin on his shoulder. Louis was completely still, his face heating up. Liam leaned in to whisper, "You know I love you, right?" Louis sighed and placed his hand on Liam's, which was on his chest, "Love you too." I love you so damn much, like I'm in love with you. Crazy in love.

"Glad we are best friends, Lou."

That was the moment when Louis' heart sank, feeling it about to shatter. He knew Liam didn't feel the same way, but he loves him. He had a stupid crush on him ever since they met a few years ago. His crush increased as he got to know him more. He fell completely in love ever since they got even closer, and when Liam gave soft kisses on his head and warm, protective hugs. Louis is in love with his best friend, and he is upset.

"Y-yeah, me too," Louis choked out.

booooo. this sucks but i promise you it will get better. also, i have a couple of ideas for other stories and such.

1) im thinking of writing another lilo fic with the title, "i want to write you a song" :-) since liam and louis wrote a lot of songs together, each chapter will be a title of the song they wrote and how one of them or both wrote it with the thought of them in their heads (if that makes sense)

i'm still thinking about it, though. i'll probably write a draft and publish it if i feel like its good enough.

another idea: playlists! i want to make a book of songs that remind me of a ship (like lilo, narry, and lirry) each part will have a youtube vid of the song that reminds me of them :-)

also: slow updates this week since school started for me (gross) but ill definitely write a lot on the weekends!!
