"Louis, we're in Paris. Can you be happy?"

Louis scoffed and shook his head, "I am happy, why would you assume I'm unhappy?" Lottie, Louis' sister, raised her eyebrows and crossed her arms, "Don't start with that, tell me what's wrong. Do you miss Liam?" He bit his lip and looked down. He does miss him, but he promised himself on the flight to keep his mind off of him. The more he thinks about him, the harder he falls for him.

"Alright, I do. That doesn't mean I'm unhappy with everything, Lottie." Lottie smiled, "I already know how great he is, but tell me, what made you want to date him?" I do wish I was his boyfriend. Louis walked over to the window and looked at the Eiffel Tower in the distance, "I dunno, he's honestly the greatest guy ever and he's just really sweet. He knows when I'm upset and will do anything to make me feel better and he's so sweet. He's funny, always making me laugh. He has a great smile, the warmest shade of brown for his eyes, I love his eyes. I love his hugs as well, I feel safe when he's around me. A great kisser, lemme tell you that. He's just an amazing guy and... I love him."

Louis looked at Lottie and she was smiling big, "I've never seen this side of you, Lou. Never. You must really love him, and I'm so happy you found someone to make you feel this way. I'm happy for you!" She walked towards him and hugged him tightly. He chuckled and planted a kiss on top of her head. It's true, he never felt this way towards anyone. There's something about Liam that makes Louis feel shivers down his spine and practically butterflies in his stomach. It makes him feel good, knowing there is somebody he's comfortable with. The question is, does Liam feel the same way?

"You should call him, I bet he misses you too."

"You think?"

"Of course."

Louis doesn't call Liam after his conversation with Lottie; he's keeping his promise on not to think about him too much. He's struggling, of course, but he doesn't want to hurt himself if Liam doesn't feel the same way. He's probably with Sophia, don't even bother.

Louis startled when he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. He pulled it out and saw Liam's name on his screen.

Liam: heyyyy hows paris? have u seen the tower yet? btw I miss uuu

Louis exhaled like he was holding his breath the entire time and typed out a reply.

Me: The tower is big as usual and I miss you too Li... Ill be back soon :)

Liam: Sickkk and ok :) also happy birthday.. since its the bday week!!! I hope u opened the gift already, i think youll like it

Louis almost slapped himself in the face, since the gift was back at his place. Liam seems so happy with his gift for him and Louis wants to know what's inside it.

Me: Thank you ! and didn't open it yet but I will soon !!

Liam: Oh ok hah have fun then Tommo I really do miss u love ya x

As he types his response with shaky fingers:
