Niall and Harry walked up to Louis' door with ice cream and snacks. "Hopefully, he's still in there feeling better," Harry spoke, knocking on the door. They waited for someone to answer and the doorknob turned. They had smiles on their faces, then it fell when they saw it was Liam who answered.
"Oh, hello," Liam greeted, fixing his hair. Harry narrowed his eyes, handing Niall the snacks he was holding. "Wait, Harry! No-"
"Harry! Niall! Lads! I'm glad to see you all," Louis exclaimed, joining the group. Harry was going to yell at Liam, but is now left confused. "What- Louis, when did this..." Harry questioned, pointing at Liam. Louis raised his eyebrow, confused as well. "Oh! Yeah, Liam and I are good and we are together. Yay! Is that ice cream?"
Liam sighed, "Harry, my friend, we were never together before, but now we are actually dating. We are good now. Now, are you good with me?"
"I- I mean, I still don't get everything, about this, but I'm just glad to see Louis smile again."
Louis invited the couple in for a movie and started talking to Harry. Niall looked at Liam and gave him a nod, patting his back. He nodded back, feeling all the weight coming off his shoulders.
He figured it out.

"Liam," Louis sang, "Where are you taking me?"
"To our date destination! I didn't want to wait any longer, so I'm taking you now." Louis rolled his eyes, "You are impatient." Liam hummed, looking at the road ahead of them as music from the radio played softly in the background.
"We are here," Liam announced a few minutes later. They took off their seatbelts and Liam grabbed something from the back of the car. Louis looked at what he was holding and it was a picnic basket. "A picnic?" Louis asked. "A picnic at a beautiful park. I thought it was romantic." Louis laughed softly, grabbing his hand as they walk to their spot. Louis never thought this would happen with Liam. He never thought Liam was so sweet and loving. It made him love him even more.
Liam spread out a blanket for them to sit on and set the containers of food onto the blanket.
"Let's see, we have pasta, salad, garlic bread, and chocolate covered strawberries," Louis said, his eyebrow raised at the strawberries. Liam shrugged, "They're good. We can feed it to each other, sweet cheeks." Liam wiggled his eyebrows and received a smack on the arm from Louis.
They ate their food, talking about their lives and other random topics. Liam did get to feed the strawberries to Louis, making an airplane sound as he moved the berry around like it was an airplane and Louis is a child. He giggled, trying to catch the berry with his mouth and succeeded.
"You're adorable," Liam complimented with fond. Louis wiped his mouth with a napkin as he gave Liam a confused look. "Huh? No, I'm not. You're the cute one here." Liam shook his head, "Nah, you're pretty adorable. No joke. I want to squish your cheeks and hold you forever." Louis' nose was scrunched up, trying to look disgusted. Liam smiled, giving his nose a 'boop.' "You're so cute."
"All right, I'm cute, I get it. We are a cute couple."
"Cute indeed."
"Let's move in together, get a pet, and get matching tattoos and we will be the cutest."
"I'd like that, let's start now."
"Liam."
"Hm?"
