Louis and Harry arrived to the location of the party and there were many people walking around with the sight of a big fire surrounded by dancing people and sticks with marshmallows on the top. It was pretty nice, it reminds Louis of a camp except there's no cabins anywhere.

"Are you excited, Lou? This place looks pretty nice," Harry said as he took off his seat belt. Louis shrugged, "I guess. The bonfire looks pretty sick." Harry hummed in agreement as he fixed his floral shirt, "I need to talk about something. You can tell Liam, but do not say a thing to Niall." Louis looked at him and he was playing with the rings on his fingers, looking nervous. "You can tell me anything, what's up?"

Harry took a deep breath and started to speak without looking at Louis, "I've been wanting to like, propose to Niall and I want you to help me with a perfect place to do the proposal. You come up with great ideas and I need your help." That was it for Louis, he tried to hold in his laughter and cleared his throat, "Oh, uh, proposal?" Harry finally looked at Louis and he raised his eyebrows, "Is something wrong with that?"

"No! No, nothing wrong with that. It's cute, just never thought you would do it, you know?" Harry grinned, "I think it's time for it, I love him." Louis chuckled and gave Harry's shoulder a squeeze, "He loves you."

"So, you'll help me?"

"Of course, I'll see what I can do."

They both get out of the car and they were greeted by their friends. Louis shook hands with a couple of them, even saw Stan and Calvin which was nice to him. He sees Harry and Niall hug each other and pretty much giving each other kisses every three seconds. He felt sad, he wants to have someone who he can kiss any time he wants to and someone he can cuddle with every night and tell each other pointless stories around 3 in the morning. Louis shook his head and grabbed a beer, then he felt a hand on his shoulder.

"Already drinking? Louis, at least stay sober for the countdown. The fireworks aren't something to barely remember."

Louis felt a smile creep on his face and turned around to face a man with warm, brown eyes and a big smile.

"Liam. Surprised to see you here," Louis said as he puts the bottle down. "Glad I can knock your socks off, mate. Thanks for coming," Liam mumbled as he gives him a hug. Louis hugged back, possibly tighter than Liam's embrace. He can smell a mix of cologne and cigarette smoke. It takes him back to when he arrived to the airport.

Louis scrolled through his Twitter feed as the escalator takes him down. The airport was pretty crowded since people are going off for NYE. The flight from Paris made Louis feel exhausted since there was an upset baby on board. He sighed and tucked the phone in his pocket and adjusted the backpack on his shoulder. His mother and sisters were behind, talking about what they loved about Paris. He'd love to join in, but all he wants to do is crash into his bed and sleep.

They walked off the escalator and Louis' mother started talking, "Make sure you have everything. I called someone to pick us up and drive us to our house, so look for our name." The Tomlinsons mumbled in response and Louis noticed a group of men holding up signs with surnames written on with black ink. He looked for 'Tomlinson' and his eye caught a sign that says 'Louis and Family.'

Louis squinted and made sure he read it right, then saw it was Liam holding the sign. He looked over to his mother and she was waving at him. Louis started to pick up his speed and Liam's face brightened up, then his smile fell.

Louis was coming up to Liam with a furious look on his face and Liam started to back up slowly, "Louis, what's-" He flinched when the sign was snatched from his hands and felt arms wrap around his neck.
