Time seemed to fly in Mr.whichers class. As the bell rang everyone seemed ready to bolt out the door and head straight to lunch. Korra on the other hand packed up her things slowly. She wanted to ask the question once again to Mable. As the last person left the room headed straight to Mable but was stopped by Mr.whicker, she then watched her walked out the door. After she turned her full attention to the man in front of her.
"Yes Mr. Whicker?" She asked a little annoyed by him.
"You seemed distracted in my class today, that's highly unusual for you"
"I'm sorry sir, I just had something on my mind that's all" Mr. Whicher stood there for a moment and gave a small sigh.
"Ok,well don't let it happen again"
"Don't worry I won't" she said as she headed towards the door.
"Korra" he said before she was out the door.
"Yes?" She asked
"You know if you ever need to talk to someone I'm always here"
"I know and thanks" Mr. Whicker then gave her a small nod and she headed to the lunch room. As she entered she scanned the room for Mable but didn't see her or her group of friends.
(Probably went out for lunch) she thought.
"KORRA!" She turned to see Leo who was already upon her.
"Shit, don't do that to me"she said as he happily hugged her.
"But I gave you a warning"
"By shouting my name at the last minute" she said as he let her go.
"Yes" he said with a small smirk. Korra just shook her head.
"Let's go get some food, I'm starving" as they head to the lunch line Leo said.
"You took the words right out of my mouth"
As they stood in line Leo talk on about how Mrs.crow was a even bigger bitch that day and how he was so excited for tomorrow for the basketball game.
"You better be there" he said as they headed into the room filled with people.
"Don't worry I will be there" Korra said as she looked around for a seat for them.
"You better, this isn't no normal game this the finals and I really need you there for moral support" as they sat down she said.
"Don't worry I will be there, no matter what" Leo seemed content with that and he began to talk about some new tricks he learned and was hoping to use in the game. Korra had a hard time keeping up for she wasn't a sporty person and only knew some of the basics of basketball ball. As Leo began to calm down from his game plan he became quite. Korra looked up from her food that she was eating.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"Well it's just that I know you'll make it to my game tomorrow but I was thinking"
"You thinking, that can't be good" she said playfully.
"Hey I have ideas too" Leo said in his defense.
"Really, you could of fooled me" she said with a small smile creeping it's way a cross her face.
"Whatever that's besides the point"
"Ok ok I'll stop playing with you, what where you thinking about?" Korra asked. Leo sat there for a minute, seeming to be think over his question careful.
"Well...I was thinking maybe you would like to come to the after party you know after the game"
"No" Korra said plainly.
"Aaahhhh come on" Leo whined.
"Please it wi be so much more fun with you around"
"Leo we've had this talk before, you know I hate party's"
"Yes but this is a special party and it will make my day if you came" Korra sat there for a moment thinking the idea over.(I mean it's just one party, and I could stay for a hour or two but just for Leo)
"Ok I'll come but only for a hour or two"
"YES!" Leo shouted in victory.
"Trust me you won't regret it" he said with a big cheesy smile plastered across his face.
"I better not" Korra said as she began to finsh up her lunch.
The bell soon rang once more and Leo and Korra said their good byes and head to their next classes.
