I don't know what time I fell asleep that night or what time I woke up, only that I left for school that morning. My mind had been buzzing with all of the drama in my life, somebody in my past has come back, Jackson is ignoring me for an unknown reason, and an old friend is coming back in contact. I don't know when the tides turned with Jackson either, in fact I can't remember the last full conversation we had. Every time I see him, and he sees me, he turns away and avoids talking to me...My mind fought against itself on whether or not he was intentionally ignoring me the entire way to school, before I realized it I was inside. The second the thought that he hated me came to my mind I felt hands wrap around my waist. Turning around, I was greeted by the smiling face of Jackson.
"What do you want." As I spoke my eyes narrowed into an icy glare. His smile faltered, slowly turning to a confused sad face.
"I wanted to talk to you."
"Okay then you better start talking beca-" I was cut off by his lips against mine. My eyes widened and I pushed my hands against his chest, shoving him off of me. So many thoughts were running through my head that I couldn't process each one. I walked quickly away, the sound of his footsteps following me. I managed to avoid him for most of the day until period 6. As I walked down the dismal hallway toward my class, I felt a hand grab my hand I knew who it was in an instant.
He pulled me over to the wall and told me he wanted to talk to me. " If you wanted to talk to me so bad, let alone kiss me, then why have you been avoiding me?"
"Because I didn't know how to ask you, although I've asked so many other girls..."
"What are you trying to say?"
"Will you be my girlfriend?" I stared blankly back at his curious face. I didn't know if I should say yes because of the pain he's caused me, but I didn't know if I should say no because I still love him. After thinking it over, I finally had an answer.
