Hey guys! I hope you enjoy this first chapter. Respect means much to me, so I tried to write this in a way that is good for everyone. You will see what I mean. :) The girl above is an older version of the main character, Fallon. Happy reading!

"Ladies and gentlemen! We are counting down to end this competition. Seventy seconds left on the clock. And it looks like Fallon James, in blue who is here all the way from Florida, is trying to catch this next wave! There go orange, and green after her. This will be a showdown, folks. She's looking for a 4.3 to overtake that top spot and beat Alana Wild, in green. Quick reminder, ladies and gentlemen. The winners of today's competition qualify for the Hawaiian Island Regionals." The announcer booms through his mic across the beach. Surfers ride the waves in the close distance while cheering people dot the beach in a kaleidoscope of surfboards, swimsuits, and towels.

"James has caught the wave! There she is, up and riding. A strong carve off the top. And another big snap! There goes her third bottom turn, and hooks it one more time. Definitely a solid wave for blue."

The crowd chants and claps as the surfers continue to battle the waves. Then the horn blows, marking the finish of the competition. Cheers erupt from the hordes of people.

"D*mn, that was a good ride." Noah Woods comments to his friends, Jeremiah Ryder and Josh Blakeley.

"Yeah, she was amazing." Jeremiah whistles, running a hand through his dirty blonde hair. His bright blue eyes zone in on the surfer in blue who runs out of the ocean, carrying a black surfboard. Her dark red hair flies with the wind and her gray-blue eyes light up as she embraces a guy who stands by us. With her dark black eyelashes, high cheekbones, thick lips, and tanned muscled body, she is definitely the picture of beauty.

"Great ride, Fal! I think you actually might make it to Regionals." The guy teases her, wrapping his arm around her shoulders.

"Very funny." She replies, laughing as she shoves his shoulder.

"She's really hot. And tall." Noah whispers as the surfer and her friend are lost in the crowd. Wind whips through his brown hair and causes his green eyes to squint as he watches the crowd.

"She wouldn't be interested in someone like you, bro." Jeremiah chuckles. Noah scowls at him.

"Wanna bet?"

"Nope. I already know I would win, so I'll just spare you the embarrassment." Jeremiah winks.

"Whatever. Shut up! They're announcing the winners." Noah glares. The crowd has gathered around a podium where the announcer stands with a piece of paper in his hands.

"Third place of the Turtle Bay Juniors final goes to Olivia Burns. Second place goes to Alana Wild, in green. Meaning, first place goes to Fallon James!"

The crowd erupts into cheers as the three finalists accept their medals. Fallon, the surfer in blue, holds up her trophy, smirking widely.

"D*mn. She really is hot!" Noah remarks staring at her. She steps off the podium and makes her way in their direction. As she walks, she pulls off her swim-shirt, revealing developed abs and a belly button piercing. Walking by the guys, she pulls her hair into a messy bun and strides toward the parking lot. The guy with whom she was earlier follows her with her surfboard.

"He looks familiar." Josh mutters, staring at the two. His bleach blonde hair falls across his forehead as he turns back around. Confusion etches across his gray eyes.

"I wonder if they're staying here." Jeremiah comments. The guys shrug.

"Wouldn't it be cool if she went to our school?" Noah gasps, dramatically as four people run up to the three. Alan Moore and Shane Roberts with their girlfriends, Roxanne Davis and Kate Gonzalez.
