Chapter 15: Act like a real man

"Kevin you can sleep on the couch until you learn to act like a real man." Emily said. She took Hannah and Elizabeth to the back to sleep. It was hard to sleep so I sat on the couch. I started crying I felt mixed emotions all that's been going on I just felt like crying.

Emily came out she leaned on the wall. I looked at her and stood up she walked away I followed her and grabbed her arm. "Emily I'm sorry you gave me no choice your my glue you keep me together," I said.

"Kevin it's fine I believe you come here," She told me. I followed her to the bedroom we sat on the bed and we talked. We talked wedding plans,finances, college, and work.

I fell asleep a few minutes after we talked it felt great to be with my fiancé again feel her warmth and hear her talking and laughing. I woke up early to get ready to go meet the wedding planner for our wedding today.

I put on a plaid button up shirt and pants. I heard Elizabeth and Hannah outside the bathroom door. I would've been a lot happier if they didn't sneak up on me while I was looking for my brush under the cabinet. "ROAR DADDY!" They screamed.

I bumped my head on the cabinet. Emily started laughing while I was grumbling in pain. I ran after them doing my best roar and grabbed the girls including Emily. They giggled. I let go of the twins and turned Emily around and kissed her. The twins yelled ,"EWW!"

We laughed. Emily took the girls to get a dress. I met with the wedding planner, Nadia Harrison best wedding planner in the NY. The wedding took place in a small park enough to fit our family. The reception was being held in a party boat. I went to my little dressing area that could hold my dad, Henry, and one of my old friends Gary.

  "Hey nice tuxedo but you got a loose thread," my dad said.

  "What the tailor said the stitches were done perfectly," I panicked.

  My dad laughed I looked at him soon everyone was laughing except me. "Ha ha ha guys this isn't funny the wedding is in... 35 minutes I have to get down there in perfect shape," I said.

  Nadia came in and said, "Men get your clothes on you only have 10 minutes no ones gonna wait this is a wedding."

  I stared at them. I threw them a tuxedo and walked out the dressing area Hannah and Elizabeth ran by in a silk lavender dress their hair down with a flower in it. 

  Nadia rushed me to the aisle and walked back to get my father and friends. Nadia got the men in their places we stood there for what seemed like hours.

Then the piano started playing and Emily walked down the aisle I smiled. It came to our vows, "Emily Marie Spells I won't let you go ever you are the main thing in my life and I hope to start a family with you and still complete our goals I want to be the only man in your life unless we have a boy but the only man in your life I love you Emily," I stared tearing up.

"Kevin Diego Sanders I love you more than the universe can handle and I hope we continue for years of our life to  work on things and to grow bigger as a family and maybe a home, I remember the day you held the umbrella for me and risked getting sick at the bus stop and I'll never forget the day we first met and you were so polite high school you made it great for me and the first time we made love although afterwards it made some bonds weaker," Emily started to cry.

  I wiped the tears from her face. We put on our rings and said I do. The kiss was magical her lips connected with mine. Everyone shouted and whooped as we walked down the aisle. We sat in the limo and gazed in each other's eyes and held hands.
