When he was done I saw Annie crying and tears noticeable in William’s eyes. I couldn’t believe it. He had lost his bestest friend ever because of rogues. I felt so sorry for him. He wasn’t so bad after all. He’d been through so much pain already.

“That’s why I have a big problem with rogues Annie.” He sighed. We sat there speechless for a bit until Annie got up, walked over to her dad and hugged him.

“Sir, we’re really not like that. My own pack was killed. Every person except me, my brother and my mate died. Our parents all died protecting us. It haunts me every night, the dreams replay over and over in my head. But life goes on. You have family, don’t let something like that bring you down. Trust me, it doesn’t do any good.” I shrugged.

“I’m sorry and thank you. I was so caught up in my hatred for rogues, that I didn’t stop to notice that your family were perfectly fine.”

“Daddy?” Annie interrupted. “I hope you respect this, but I wish to remain with my mate and his family at theirs. You’ll be fine as Alpha. Please daddy.” William thought for a few minutes before nodding in agreement.

“You have to visit us and let us visit you though.” He smiled She squealed as she hugged him again whilst he laughed and I stood up and went over to the door. “Go on then Annie, and um….”

“Alexis.” I smiled.

“Alexis. You and your family are welcome on my land anytime.”

“Thank you William.” Annie gave her dad one last hug before running out of the door, grabbing me on the way, and skipping out of the door over to the car. Well this turned out pretty well.

We got home after a ten minute drive and as we walked into thee house, Annie ran over to Richard, jumped on him, and started kissing him. I fake gagged at them, then went upstairs and into mine and Jay’s room where Jayden was laying down on the bed. I snuck over to him, straddled him then brushed my lips lightly against his. His eyes flew open and when he saw it was me smirking on top of him, a big adoring smile slipped onto his face.

“How’d it go?” He asked still smiling and putting his hands on my hips.

“It went fine actually.” I shrugged. “Alpha Thomas told us why he hated rogues then accepted Annie’s decision to stay here with us, and I think I made a new friend.” I beamed as I layed down beside him and curled myself up against his side with his arms wrapped around me.

“Well that’s good isn’t it? The Alpha doesn’t hate us, and he’s fine about Annie being here with us.”

“Yeah. It’s like a happy family.” I sighed, snuggling myself up against him and resting my head on his chest before closing my eyes.

I was woken up by Annie jumping up and down on my bed with Hazel standing at the end of the bed with an amused smile on her face.

“Get up, get up, get up. We’re going shopping.” Annie cheered.

“Hey girls.” I smiled. “And when was this decided?”

“Just a few seconds ago.” She smirked.

“Alright, alright, I’m up.” I chuckled as I got up off the bed. “Do the guys know?”

“Yup, they sure do. They’re downstairs waiting to say bye. It’s officially a girls only shopping trip.” She beamed. We walked downstairs after I’d got my purse and bag, and sure enough, Jay and Richie were leaning against the door waiting for us. “Alright guys, we’re going to town. You stay here, invite some people over, whatever. No girls allowed in this house unless we’re here.” Annie ordered as she went over to Richard and kissed him. I went over to Jay, put my arms around his waist then kissed him lightly on the lips.

“See you later baby. Love ya.” He whispered huskily as he nuzzled my neck and grabbed my hips.

“Love you too.” I smiled as I pulled back, then walked out the door with Hazel and Annie behind me. We walked down the road a little where Annie had parked her grey Volvo, got in, then drove off going to town.
