Alexis’ P.O.V
1 month later….
It’s been a month since that incident on the beach. Let me fill you in on everything that’s happened during that time. The day we were back at school, Tyrone broke up with Mindy in front of the whole school in the canteen. The day after he let everyone know that him and Hazel were together and mates. And now they're really happy together and are getting really close. Jayden and I made our engagement official with a party. David’s staying with us happily annoying anyone of the boys. The Alpha and Cassie have visited us now and again, and Hazel’s mum and Tyrone’s dad are happy that their kids have found their mate after all this time. Annie ad Richard are fully mated, and we haven’t heard anything from Mindy and her minions for ages.
Right now though, was a Saturday and Annie and I were round Hazel’s house for a sleepover. We were sat on the bed watching Unborn when I felt uneasy in my stomach. Again. I ran to the bathroom and threw up in the toilet. Hazel and Annie were at my side in an instant holding my hair up and calming me down. Once I was done I cleaned myself up and pulled the chain.
“I don’t get why this had been happening to me. I never get ill.” I muttered confused.
“Huni, have you been on at all this month?” Annie asked. I thought about it and shook my head.
“Mum!” Hazel called. Celia was there in a few seconds.
“What’s wrong” She asked alert. She looked at me and her whole body softened. “Again?” I nodded and she sighed. “Hold on a minute.” She walked off and came back with a small rectangular box. She gave it to me and I looked at her like she was mad.
“You’re not serious, a pregnancy test?” I gaped.
“When was the last time you had unprotected sex?” She asked.
“We never…” I trailed off remembering the only time it had happened. “When Jay asked me to marry him. But that was a month ago.”
“It takes time to affect you clearly.” She smiled softly.
Half an hour later we all looked at the three test sticks that Celia made me pee on and I almost fainted. All three of them had a plus sign on it as well as ‘Positive’ and ‘One month’. Holy crap. I was pregnant! I was going to be a mum.
“Oh my god. How - how is Jay going to react? What if he disowns me? What if he doesn’t want children? What if he makes me have an abortion?” I panicked. All three girls hugged me and told me to calm down.
“It will be alright Alexis. He’s your mate, he’ll love the idea. Just like Mark loved it when he found out I was pregnant with Hazel.” Celia smiled reassuringly at me.
“Yeah Lex. Calm down. Everything will be fine. Jay loves you more than anything. He’ll be so happy.” Annie beamed.
“He’ll be so excited. You can tell that he’s always wanted to start a family with you. It’s obvious in the way he watches you with Tony’s little brother Jack.” Hazel giggled. I hoped they were right because I wasn’t giving this baby up for nothing. Even for Jayden.
The next morning came quickly and David was coming to pick me and Annie up. It was my birthday today so we were having a party tonight. Dave pulled up to Hazel’s house in his new black range rover, so we said goodbye to Hazel, Celia and Mark, and got into the car.
“Happy birthday cuz. How’s it feel to be eighteen?” Dave teased.
“Same as it did when I was seventeen.” I smiled.
