Chapter 15

Tyrone’s P.O.V

Kissing Hazel was the best thing on earth that I could do, and it confused me. I had no idea why I kept feeling these things with her. My wolf liked her which confused me as well. Before she came along, he was perfectly satisfied with Mindy, but when I saw her, he hated every minute of being with Mindy. It confused me like hell.

“What the hell is going on here!” A familiar voice screeched. I pulled away panting and looked up to see Mindy staring at Hazel in disgust and me in shock. My wolf hated seeing her look at Hazel like that, but I just wanted her to back off a bit. “Why were you kissing that mutt?”

“It was just - a dare Mindy. I would never - kiss her otherwise.” I panted with a smirk. “I wouldn’t waste my time on her.” She smiled smugly over at Hazel and I saw why. Her eyes were filled with tears and she looked broken. It hurt me to see her like that which was weird. She stood up and burst into her beautiful golden wolf, growled at Mindy lowly, shook her head at the girls she was with and ran off. My wolf was screaming at me to run after her and tell her what I said wasn’t true, but I just sat staring at the place she’d been.

“Well then, let’s go girls. Come on Ty.” I hated it when she called me that.

“Nah, I’m gunna stay here with the guys for a while. You go ahead.” I said getting up and walking back onto the pitch we made up. She huffed annoyed at me but walked off anyway. Thank god.

Once she was gone everyone stared at me in shock, Tony was staring at me disappointed, and the girls she was with, Annie Thomas and Alexis I think they were called, were staring at me with mixed emotions. There was sadness, disappointment, shock, and anger. Just as I was about to say something, Alexis beat me to it.

“You bloody idiot!” She spat. “Why are you so thick! Cant you even tell what she is to you? Are you that thick!? You broke her f*cking heart you moron! She’s know all along what you mean to her and has waited patiently while you were off with that slut! She’s waited all this time and you still haven’t figured it out. We made a plan for you to realise it, but I’m not waiting any longer, not while she’s god knows where heart broken. Let me spell it out for you.” She walked over to me and I saw her boyfriend watching her warily. “She’s. Your. Mate. You. Bloody. A**hole!” She said with a punch to my face and body on every word. She stood there watching me as I let the information sink in. That explained it, all the tingly feelings, the getting lost in her eyes, the need to protect her, why I enjoyed kissing her so much, why my wolf hated Mindy, and liked her. It all made sense now! She was my mate and…… Oh shit. I’d just said I wouldn’t waste my time on her with her right there. I’d just broken my own mates heart due to my own stupidity. How was I supposed to fix this now? “Go after her you idiot.” Alexis told me in a ‘duh’ tone. I smiled amused at her but burst into my dark brown wolf, picked up her scent and ran after her. I hoped she’d forgive me. Wouldn’t blame her if she didn’t though. I mean it was my fault that she’d had to have gone through all of this in the first place. If I hadn’t of been so stupid, she wouldn’t of had to go through this. I was some rubbish mate. God I hoped she was okay.
