Chapter 14

Hazel’s P.O.V

I sat there staring at Tyrone as he played football with the guys. Ironic how someone like me ends up with someone like him isn’t it? I knew that Alexis would do anything at all to get me and Tyrone happily together. Annie would too, but I got the feeling that Alexis was more determined. It made me really happy and feel loved to know that I’d gotten two really good friends. I was a loner because of my status in the Pack, but now I have some great new friends to watch out for me. They had become the two older sisters I’d never had. I loved it. And I would also love it if Tyrone realised what I was to him. Would he even accept me? Would he be cool with it? Only time could tell really.

Alexis had told me that we were going to go over to the boys now for Part 1 and 2 in the plan. I didn’t know how they were going to do it, but I knew they had something planned. Alexis, and I all walked over to where the boys were playing, then they started to cheer on Tony. I knew they wanted me to go along with it too so I did. I was so caught up in watching the game, that I didn’t notice Alexis come up beside me and both of them push me forward. I stumbled a bit and as I was falling….. Two strong, warm arms caught me around the waist. I looked up to see Tyrone looking down at me amused. As his eyes caught mine, we both stared into each others and got lost in them. Where his arms were holding me up, I felt all tingly and I could feel my heart beating fast in my chest. Oh, if only if he knew.

We were snapped out of our trance by someone clearing their throats. Tyrone shook his head slightly as he set me up right, then dropped his arms from around me and stepped back.

“So guys,” I heard Alexis call to them. “Who wants to play truth or dare?” I heard a ton of cheers coming from the rest of the boys, but I couldn’t take my eyes off of Tyrone who was staring at me confused. We all sat down on the sand together, me in between Alexis and Annie and the rest of the boys in front or next to us as well, including Richard, Jayden, and David. We all did a number of truth or dares before I heard Annie tell Tyrone one of his dares.

“I dare you to make out with Hazel for two minutes.” At her words my heart literally started going wild in my chest. I saw him look at me uncertain before shrugging and moving closer to me. “Starting from….. Now.” in an instant Tyrone’s lips were on mine and I felt my hands instinctively go to his hair and neck, pulling him closer. He moaned and pressed him chest against mine as he layed me down with him on top. I gasped as his hand skimmed over my breast, and he took that opportunity to thrust his tongue into my mouth and deepen the kiss. I could feel my heart and wolf both going mad. It felt like as he was kissing me, he was sucking my heart and soul right out of me. I know in that instant that I was falling in love with him, but it hurt that he had no idea and would just go back to Mindy. And as if someone had called, there she appeared with her minions, breaking us apart.

“What the hell is going on here!?” She screeched as she looked at me and Tyrone panting slightly. “Why were you kissing that mutt?”

“It was just - a dare Mindy. I would never - kiss her otherwise.” Tyrone panted with a smirk. “I wouldn’t waste my time on her.” At his words I felt my heart break and tears well up in my eyes. I had to get out of here. I stood up, shifted, lowly growled at Mindy and shook my head at Alexis and Annie, letting them know that I needed time to myself, before running off full speed to the caves on the beach.
