Just a Dream

Chapter 3: What To Do

     I then got up and moved to the couch. Tears are running down my face. Just a few minutes later I hear a knock at the door.

      I didn't want to get up so I said in a sad voice," It's open."

      Haymich walks in and sits next to me on the couch. He looks a me and all he can say is," That must have been heartbreaking to see."

      Apparently he saw what happened outside.

      I just shake my head a start to cry. He hands me a tissue to wipe my tears away. I love Haymich so much because he has been like a father I have never had.

      "I know you love him Katniss and you are heartbroken right now, but you can't spend the rest of your life on this couch." He tells me.

       I look at him and say," Is it that noticeable? Also if I can't spend the rest of my life on the couch what should I do?"

      All he does is shake his head yes and says," Well, we can go to the hobb and shop. Also if you want to come over for dinner I would be happy to have you. Effie is also coming over for dinner and she would be really happy to see you."

        "I would really like that. Thank you," I say to him.

        "Your welcome. I will come back over here in 20 minutes to go to the hobb," Haymich replies and leaves.

       I then just relax and wait for Haymich to come back.
