Fred’s POV

We had just finished telling Harry, Ron and Maddy what Moody’s class was like. It was probably the awesomest class we have ever had. Mad Eye Moody is so skilled. In the first lesson he taught us about the unforgivable curses. Soon enough it was dinner time. We were having a chicken pie. George and I were again talking about ways we could enter the tournament. What if Maddy is right? What if I entered and somehow got in? What if I died? But then again, what if I won? All thesethoughts played in my head over and over again. Maddy lately has seemed a bit lonely. Now that I come to think about it she’s been like this since the Quidditch World Cup. I’ll ask her what’s up later. She is currently in a conversation with Harry and Ron about the events of last year. I heard them talk about Lupin, Peter Pettigrew and Sirius Black. Maddy had told George and me that Sirius was Harry’s Godfather and that he was actually good. At first I thought she was joking but then she told us the story. “So how can we get into this tournament?” George said. “Other than an aging potion”. “We could get someone who is of age to enter for us”, Lee suggested. “Or we could use Polyjuice Potion for like Cedric Diggory or Viktor Krum but enter our names”, I said. “Nah I think that an aging potion’s our best bet”, George said.

Soon enough dinner had finished and we headed up to our common room. Maddy came with us. “Password?” The fat Lady asked. “Balderdash”, Maddy says before entering. George and Lee sat down in the corner while Maddy sat in front of the fireplace. I decided that now would be the correct time to ask her what was wrong. I sat down left her. She knew I was there but she just stared at the fire. “Maddy, ever since the Quidditch World Cup you’ve been kind of- you know- distant. What’s up?” I asked her. All she did was sigh. She didn’t say a word. She looked as though she was in great thought. “Come on Maddy! You can tell me!” I said. “I’m going to get my homework. Be right back”, she said. She got up and headed to her dormitory. No more than two minutes later she came back and sat at a table.

I’m really worried for her. Have I done anything?

Maddy’s POV

I sat at the table doing Trelawney’s homework. Fred had asked me what was wrong. I’m trying to decide whether to tell him or not. Suddenly a child I recognised as first year, Dennis Creevey came up to me with a letter. “I got told to give this to you”, He said in a small voice. “Thank you Dennis. How has your first day gone?” I asked him. “It was okay. We had Professor Snape today. He was scary”, he said a bit louder than last time. “Yeah!  Don’t worry. I’ll tell you a little secret. He still scares me, that giant greasy man”, I say to make him feel a bit better. He smiles before walking away to his older brother, Colin. I open up the note.

Dear Maddison,

I have written to inform you that I would like to see you in my office next Monday night after dinner at 7pm.

See you then,

Professor Dumbledore

I wonder what that’s for. Hope I’m not in trouble. 'I continued with my homework. It was very hard to do considering I had fallen asleep during class and had no idea what to do. I decided to make up my predictions (as I normally did) but made them more believable. An hour later I was done.
