Maddy's Point of View

"We need to get Hermione and Harry. We have to get to Sirius as quickly as we can," I stressed as we made our way out of the castle.
"Where are they exactly?" Neville asked as he paced behind me.
"In the forbidden forest," I said as I turned to face Neville with a smirk. "Hopefully Umbridge will get what's coming for her."
"She bloody well better get more than what's coming," Ron spoke. "How about a nice pink cell in Azkaban for her, eh?"
"Yeah and we could chuck Fudge in there too. You know, hitting two birds with one stone," I added with a laugh.

As we began to walk across the bridge that would lead away from the castle, we ran into the very people we were looking for- Harry and Hermione.
"How'd you get away?" Hermione asked as we all joined together.
"Puking Pastilles. It wasn't pretty," Ginny answered.
"It was awesome," I added.
"Told them I was hungry and wanted some sweets. Of course, they told me to bugger off and ate the lot of them for themselves," Ron spoke with a sigh of relief.
"That was clever, Ron," Hermione said with a smile.
"It's been known to happen," Ron replied softly.
"It was brilliant!" exclaimed Neville. "So, how are we getting to London?"

Harry's face immediately dropped as Neville said those words. You could see that he was grateful yet incredibly guilty.
"Look, it's not that I don't appreciate everything you've done, all of you but I've got you into enough trouble as it is," Harry said, attempting to walk away.
"Dumbledore's Army is supposed to be about doing something real or was that all just words to you?" Neville asked.
"Maybe you don't have to do this all by yourself, mate," Ron argued.
"Yeah, Harry. You're my brother. We are a team who should be kicking ass together. I'm not going to leave you to fend for yourself. You're too dear to me," I added.

"So, how are we going to get to London?" Harry said, admitting defeat?"
"We fly of course," Luna stated with a smile.
"Fly? Are you bloody mad?" Ron asked. "We can't get to London on broomsticks?"
"I don't think she's referring to broomsticks, Ronald," I said, knowing exactly what Luna meant. "There are other means of flying besides broomsticks."

Before we knew it, we were off in the air, soaring on the Threstrals that led the carriages from Hogsmeade to Hogwarts. As some could not see them, they appeared to have some very anxious expressions written on their faces. For once, I was glad that I could see these marvellous creatures. As the sky got darker, the lights of the city of London grew brighter. They were nearing London very quickly and soon enough, we were in the elevator at the Ministry of Magic.

"The Department of Mysteries," the robotic, feminine voice rang through the elevator as we reached the level that we wanted.
"This is it," Harry spoke as he saw the place.
It had black, polished brick walls, floors and ceiling. It seemed fitting to the name as the dim lighting gave it a mysterious vibe. We began to walk down the corridor until we reached a door. Cautiously opening it, we stumbled upon a room. This room was full of what appeared to be crystal balls.

"Lumos," I said, illuminating my wand, as did the others.
Harry began to look through the many aisles of crystal balls until he found the one that he had envisioned, but alas, Sirius was nowhere to be seen.
"He should be here," Harry said in annoyance.
"Uh, Harry," Neville replied anxiously as he stared at a crystal ball. "It's got your name on it."
Harry walked up to the ball and cautiously picked it up, anxious of what would happen.
"The one who will vanquish the Dark Lord approaches, and the Dark Lord shall mark him as his equal but he shall have power the Dark Lord knows not for neither can live while the other survives," the voice in the prophecy said aloud.

"Harry!" Hermione exclaimed, snapping him out of his trance.
The group turned around to notice another person, a member of a group whom I was well acquainted with. Death Eaters.
"Where's Sirius?" Harry questioned sternly as he pointed his wand at the masked Death Eater.
"You know, you really should learn to tell the difference between dreams and reality," Lucius Malfoy said as he unmasked himself. "You saw only what the Dark Lord wanted you to see. Now, hand me the prophecy."
"You do anything to us and I'll break it," Harry ordered.

Suddenly a laugh rang through the room. It was the laugh of the one and only Bellatrix Lestrange.
"He knows how to play. Itty, bitty, baby, Potter," she spoke before taking notice of me and laughing. "And his big, strong sister. I haven't seen you since you were a little one, Maddison. I thought that you would be a strong supporter of the dark side but it seems as though that Potter blood runs thick through your veins."
"You're Bellatrix Lestrange!" Neville said in disbelief.
"Neville Longbottom? How's Mum and Dad?"
"Better now that they're about to be avenged!"

"Now, let's everybody just calm down shall we? All we want is that prophecy," Lucius spoke.
"Why did Voldemort need me to come and get this?" Harry asked.
"You dare speak his name? You filthy half-blood!" she yelled in offense.
"It's all right. He's just a curious lad, aren't you?" Lucius stated. "Prophecies can only be retrieved by those about whom they are made. Which is lucky for you, really. Haven't you always wondered what was the reason for the connection between you and the Dark Lord? Why he was unable to kill you when you were just an infant? Don't you want to know the secret of your scar? All the answers are there, Potter, in your hand. All you have to do is give it to me. I can show you everything."

Suddenly more Death Eaters surrounded.
"I've waited fourteen year," Harry stated.
"I know," Lucius replied with false sympathy.
"I guess I can wait a little longer," Harry stated. "Now!"
"Stupify!" everybody yelled, pointing their wands towards Lucius and Bellatrix causing them to fly back.
"Stupify!" everyone yelled at the other Death Eaters, attempting to hit them.
We all began to run away to try and defeat these Death Eaters. I ran down one corridor to ran into someone familiar, the man who I thought was my father.
"Hello, Augustus," I greeted him before continuing with," Bye Augustus. Levicorpus!"
The man flew back causing me to give myself a smile.

"Petrificus Totalis!" I saw Neville say as he jinxed the Death Eater.
"Well done, Neville," Luna said before yanking the both of us away and running.
The fight continued for a few minuted and we suddenly joined back together.
"Reducto!" Ginny yelled at an oncoming Death Eater which caused all of the Crystal Balls to fall like a domino effect, causing debris everywhere.
We suddenly ran as quick as we could to the door, but when we opened it, we were in for a surprise.

We were falling, perhaps even to our demise but as we neared the solid group, we paused for a moment before being dropped around a foot to the ground. I groaned as I got up and brushed the dirt off of my clothing.
"Department of Mysteries. They got that bit right, didn't they?" Ron joked.
"They sure did, Ron," I said, helping Luna up.

"The voices? Can you tell what they're saying?" Harry said as he walked towards an arch.
"There aren't any voices, Harry. Let's get out of here," Hermione stated firmly.
"I hear them too," Luna commented.
"So do I," I added as a soft chorus of whispers filled my ears.
"Harry, it's just an empty archway," Hermione argued. "Please Harry."
"Get behind me!" Harry exclaimed, withdrawing his wand.
We suddenly got swarmed by a mass of black, no thanks to the Death Eaters. I soon felt myself being grabbed with a wand to my throat. I had no idea what I was in for.
