Maddy's Point of View

I sat in Fred and George's room, chatting to them. We had been talking for a while now. The meeting had just begun and Mad-eye was expected to be back with Harry any time soon.
"I'm gonna go see Hermione and Ron. I haven't chatted to them for a while and I must be there to so my brother when he arrives", I announced to the twins before leaving their room and walking down the hallway to Ron's, where Hermione currently was.

"Hey guys", I said as I sat down on the bed.
"Oh, hey Maddy", Hermione replied. "Excited to see Harry?"
"Of course", I replied. "He's my brother. He better explain what's going on though".
Ron and Hermione nodded in agreement. Time passed and soon the door opened to reveal Harry. Hermione ran over to him and engulfed him in a hug.
"Oh, Harry", she said. "They told us about the dementor attacks. You must tell us everything".
"Let the man breathe, Hermione", Ron spoke. She pulled away from Harry. I walked up to him and pulled him into a hug.
"I missed you, Harry", I whispered.
"Missed you too, Sis", he spoke.

"And this hearing at the Ministry, It's just outrageous. I've looked it up.
They simply can't expel you. It's completely unfair", Hermione stated factually.
"There's a lot of that going round at the moment. So, what is this place?" Harry questioned.
"It's the Order of the Phoenix", I said.
"It's a secret society. Dumbledore formed it back when they fought You-Know-Who", Hermione elaborated for me.
"Couldn't have put any of this in a letter, I suppose? I've gone all summer without a scrap of news", Harry argued.
I started to feel very awkward in this conversation, so I slipped away silently and went back into the twins' room.

"Harry's back", I declared as I walked into the room and sat on Fred's bed.
"Excellent", Fred replied with a smile as he pulled me onto his lap. I leant up and pulled him in for a sweet, short kiss.
"Ugh, get a room", George complained as we kissed.
"We're in a room", I replied back in a duh tone.
"Can you just stop with the constant PDA?" he said in an aggravated voice.
"Aw, is little Georgey-Worgey jealous since his girlfriend is back at Hogwarts", I teased him in a baby voice.
"No... of course I'm not", he said clearly lying.

"Everyone, it's dinner time", Molly's voice rang up through the staircase. I sighed and made my way down the stairs, and into the dining room. I sat down at the table and heard Sirius and Harry discuss how Voldemort was back. The thought that he was back was daunting and his name sent shivers down my spine, but I wasn't a coward. I wasn't scared of saying his name. It's just a stupid anagram for his actual name and that's kind of silly. Like, come on?! Voldemort? More like Mouldy Shorts.

Sirius spoke of how Voldemort was planning on building an army and that he had a weapon. Molly interrupted the serious... (Wait, I meant Sirius... only joking) conversation, saying how it scared Harry and that he was only a boy. To be quite frank, I think that was a little out of line. Harry has dealt with so much and this little conversation is nothing compared to the stuff that's happened to Harry.

A few days later...

Harry had gone to his hearing and got let of the hook. Dumbledore came to save the day as always. As soon as Harry got home, he told me that he had heard Dumbledore's full name. Apparently, it's Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore. What an absurd name?! Since then, Harry, Hermione, Ron, Ginny, Fred, George and I had just been hanging out. It had gotten quite boring and we couldn't wait for tomorrow; the day we returned to Hogwarts.

"It's time for bed, you lot. You have to get up early to get to Kings Cross by eleven. Have you all pack your bags?" Molly asked as she barged into the room. We all nodded and groaned a simple, "yes". Ginny, Hermione and I walked into our room. We had previously been in Harry and Ron's.
"So, how do you think we'll go this year at Hogwarts?" I asked the two girls.
"Well, I'll strive to do an outstanding amount of study. I'd like to get an O on my OWLs", Hermione said in her usual know-at-all voice.
"I hope I get a boyfriend", Ginny giggled. "But, I'll also focus on work".
I laughed at Ginny before saying, "I don't know how I'll go. This year at Hogwarts will be different. I can feel it".
Little did I know that I was right.

Soon it was morning time and I was checking to see if I had everything packed. I picked up my owl and my trunk and went downstairs. I ate a quick breakfast consisting of bacon, eggs and toast. I readjusted my outfit, a simple pair of black skinny jeans and a black t-shirt with white writing which read, 'everything's magical'. I was also wearing my white converse high tops.
"Are you ready to go?" Fred asked me before sending me a small peck on the cheek. I nodded with a smile.
"I was born ready", I said with a laugh. Fred laughed along with me.

We joined the rest of the crew and ventured to Kings Cross with smiles on our faces. I had a rush of excitement. Hogwarts was my home and I it always would be. I pushed my trolley around the train station until I found Platform 9 ¾. Sirius had come with us in his animagus form, a dog. He had to be careful that nobody would notice him. He'd get sent back to Azkaban and most likely would receive the dementor's kiss- the kiss of death.

I said my goodbye's to all of the adults and gave Sirius a pat on the head.
"Be sure to write me, Snuffles", I said to him. Snuffles was what we called him so nobody knew it was Sirius. It was too risky now to write his name in a letter. The ministry would see it and we'd get into a lot of trouble.
Snuffles barked delightfully in response.

I grabbed Fred's hand and we pushed our trolley across the barrier at the same time. We waited for George and everyone else to get through. Somehow I managed to get everything on board the train and found a compartment in less than ten minutes. It must have been some sort of record. Fred, George and I had our own compartment and Harry, Ron and Hermione found their own. Ginny had gone off with some friends in her year.

The train ride was filled with chatter of how to prank people and inventive ideas of how to irritate Filch. Soon, the trolley lady had made her way around the train and we managed to get one of everything. I had no complaints except that my pumpkin juice tasted a little watered down.

Hermione made her way to our compartment, reminding us to get dressed into our robes as we would be there in under an hour. I got dressed into my usual Gryffindor attire and added some earring with the Gryffindor house crest on it, which I had found in Diagon Alley during my time at Grimmauld Place. We all joined back at the compartment and soon the glow of the castle came into view. We were here. I was home.

Author's Note:

Hey guys! Sorry for the extrodinarly late update. I thought that I had updated this chapter ages ago but it turns out I hadn't. I'm trying to put a lot less dialogue in my chapters, and make it more descriptive, which will hopefully make my chapters quite longer.

How have all of you guys been? Good? That's good! Bad? It'll get better!

By the way, did you see the puns I put in here such as Frank and Sirius? If not, have another look (you don't have to if you don't want to).
