Someone you love leaves you,
You're hurt.
They leave without meaning to,
You're hurt even worse.
You're in denial,
It hurts some more.
You come to terms with the truth,
You think you cannot handle the hurt.
You never get over it,
But eventually the hurt leaves you
Numb.
