"ashley, i swear to god if you burnt the pancakes again-"
"i did," ashley cut melanie off, blushing ever so slightly. melanie rolled her eyes.
"we're having tanner over, you better get something set up while i go get ready!" ashley rolled her eyes at this. "you say you want a kid, but you roll your eyes when you have to do things. geez," melanie said, giggling. ashley shrugged and continued attempting to cook.
about an hour later, ashley had finally managed to make some decent, and edible, food and melanie had finished dying her hair for the fifth time this month.
melanie jumped when there was a knock at the door. "ashley, go get it. it's probably tanner."
