Chapter 24 - Event Planners

Connor's POV:

Me, Brad and James all look at each other silently, James clears his throat 'I think we all need to have a good time'. Brad laughs 'I hope you mean like go and hang out'. James nods and laughs 'like go bowling or something like that'. I smile a little and nod 'I would like that'. Brad smiles 'everyone needs cheering up, bad things have happened recently'. I nod slowly 'we should ask Tristan, Lauren and Luisa if they can come'. James nods 'it would be cool, we should all go down and have like a chat to organise it'. Brad nods 'shall we go now?'. James looks towards me and I smile 'lets go'. 

As we walk down the stairs, I start to get a little worried incase they question the bandage on me. James notices me and slings an arm over my shoulder 'don't worry, I'll change the subject if they ask'. I smile 'thank you'. When we enter the living room, we see Tristan actually laughing and having fun for the first time in a while. They are all playing on the Play Station. Brad smiles and gets his phone out and takes a picture. I see him load up Instagram and upload the photo 'this is cute'. They look up and Lauren smiles 'hey there Brad!'. Brad smiles and replies 'hey Lauren!'. Brad sits down next to Lauren and James leads me to the 2 seater where I sit next to him.

Brad starts the conversation off 'so me, James and Connor have been talking and we have thought about organizing a trip'. Luisa smiles 'what kind of trip?'. James smiles 'something like bowling or the cinema'. Tristan smiles 'that sounds awesome'. Brad smiles 'so what shall we do?'. Tristan smiles again 'bowling sounds great'. 'I like the idea of a movie' I speak up shyly and James agrees with me. Lauren smiles 'I don't mind where we go, as long as its somewhere fun'. Brad looks at Lauren lovingly 'I'll go wherever Lauren goes'. Everyone turns to Luisa and she twiddles her thumbs awkwardly 'I have an idea, but we can't do it'. James sits up 'why can't we do it?'. 

Luisa takes a deep breathe 'because you are all too busy to do it'. Brad laughs 'this is the whole point of doing it so we can plan it before we are all busy'. Luisa sighs 'I know, but this would be for longer than a day'. We all look at Luisa confused and James asks 'what was your idea?'. Luisa shakes her head 'it doesn't matter, we can't do it anyway'. Tristan gives Luisa the puppy dog eyes and she sighs 'fine, but its silly'. We all wait for Luisa to speak up and she looks at us all 'I was thinking, maybe we could go travelling around the World for a little bit'. 

Everyone goes quiet and Luisa laughs 'see, I told you it was terrible'. Lauren shakes her head 'I'd be down for that if I'm not busy anytime soon'. James sighs 'we're kinda busy to do this though sorry, we need to finish recording our new album and then go on a World Tour'. Lauren laughs 'do you have spare time between the album and the tour?'. Tristan shrugs his shoulders 'maybe. I'm not sure, we'll have to have a word with Joe'. Brad looks around the room 'if we are able to go travelling, would everyone be up for it?'. I nod my head and so does everyone else, Brad smiles 'right, who is going to talk to Joe about this?'. Everyone look towards James and he laughs 'I take it that I'm the one talking to Joe'. 'Yep, good luck with that' Tristan laughs. 

A knock on the door makes us all jump and Lauren looks out of the window 'it looks like we won't need to call Joe anymore'. 'Why?' Brad asks and Lauren turns around 'because hes arrived'. 'I didn't know he was coming over today' James says confused and Tristan laughs 'neither did I'. Luisa heads off to answer the door and I turn to James and we make eye contact, 'good luck' I whisper before kissing his cheek, James smiles 'thanks babe'. 

When Joe enters, the first thing he says is 'I've brought Subway'. Tristan immediately jumps up for his before anyone else and Joe laughs 'calm down, I need to get it out the bag first'. Tristan waits patiently until he gets his food. As everyone's food is passed around, Joe looks confused 'wait, Anastasia was here wasnt she as I brought her one'. 'She was here, but shes headed off now' Lauren says nervously and Tristan nods slowly. Joe shrugs his shoulders 'more for us then'. Joe then stops and looks up 'has something happened?'. Tristan sighs 'its ok Joe, just a misunderstanding'. Joe nods and looks towards me, he then gives me a confused look 'Connor, are you ok?'. I smile and nod 'I'm feeling ok thank you'. James then looks towards me 'Connor, you've gone a little pale'. I look at my hands and see that they are paler than usual. 'Connor, whats that on your wrist?' Joe asks and I look down to see that he is pointing at my bandage. 'I just twisted my wrist when I fell' I say nervously. 

I look towards James and he is looking at me worried, I feel my throat go dry 'Connor?' James asks again and I force a smile 'I just need a drink' I say and I stand up slowly. When I start to walk to the kitchen slowly, I feel myself wobbling a little and feel a little dizzy. As I enter the kitchen, I lean on the side and stop walking to catch my breathe, its becoming a little harder to breathe recently and I don't know why. 'Connor?' I hear James' beautiful voice and I turn my head 'yeah?' I respond.

James' POV:

I enter the kitchen to check on Connor and see that he is leaning on the kitchen side to catch his breathe. 'Connor?' I ask worried and he turns his head slowly 'yeah?' he asks, sounding energyless. I see Connor struggling to stay on his feet and he starts to wobble and I grab my phone and search up 'pale skin, dizziness and exhausted'. 'James, what are you doing?' Connor asks whilst taking a deep breathe. Just as I'm about to hit the search button, I look up to see if Connor is ok and all of a sudden he collapses to the ground.
