Chapter 147

Sorry all wanted to update yesterday but wattpad was being awfull

Myrna's POV

Here it was on paper, I have a godfather, I have a name but no face. Closing my eyes I tried to go back in my memories trying to remember anything regarding this men. But I can't remember anything, when I open my eyes I see Alex staring back at me.

" I know what you are doing, but Myrna I never heard of that name either so I can't tell you anything about him"

" Would Pia know?"

" I think she does, the moment she saw the name she jumped up and left the room"

" She was calling someone when Jon and I got it, saying something about a letter"

" Do you mean Mom's letter?"

" I don't know Alex"

" Well here is Mom's letter to you"

" I'm scared to read it"

" Why don't you get a warm shower first and we get something to eat. Then after that you could read the letter in private"

" Yeah sounds like a good plan"

" Trust me there is a lot more in the chest but maybe it's best to leave that all to be discovered after the court case"

I hugged my brother and for the first in a long time I felt my mom's present. It was like she was hugging us as well, Alex helped me get up and we left the room. Grabbin stuff from my bedroom I left the letter on the nightstand and made my way over to the shower. Alex was right this warm shower was what I needed.

Dean / Jon's POV

I heard Myrna move around upstairs. I went upstairs to change out of my suite. Walking into the bedroom I quickly get changed, turning around I notice a letter laying on the bedstand. The curly lettering shown the name of Myrna, I never had seen that handwriting. I got spooked by Myrna who walked into the room.

" What are you doing?"

" I was just changing out of that suit"

" and then you went snooping?" she asked

" I haven't touched that letter, i swear"

" I know you haven't, the letter is still sealed" she spoke soft

" Who is it from?"

" From my Mother"

" You mean Enya"

" Yes" I softly saw how the tears run down her face.

I pulled her close, hugging her tight. Pia called from downstairs saying the food was ready. She buried her face in my neck and took one more deep breath before we left to go downstairs. We slowly made our way downstairs where we were welcomed by a table full of food surround by our close friends. We slipt into our seats and started dinner. Throughout the whole meal I kept a close eye on Myrna, she barely ate something and just made small talk, she got me worried. It was nothing for her to not eat. When we were done eating, she excused herself, grabbing some tea she left upstairs.

" Jon what is wrong with her?" Ryan asked

" I think it's getting toot much for her"

" That's not all, she just found out something about her past" Pia spoke soft

" What?" I asked her, is that why she is so off

" Myrna has a godfather only Jerry has succesfully kept him out of her life. She just found out about him" Pia explained

" Not just that, our Mom has written a letter to us both, I think she is going to read it now. You might want to get up there Jon" Alex spoke

The thoughts kept running through my head, she has a godfather and she never knew about him. The moment court is over Jerry better be running for his life or I will make sure he leaves in a bodybag. I slowly made my way up, when I reached the door I could see her sit on the bed wrapped up in the blankets, taking deep breaths slowly opening the letter.

Myrna's POV

I couldn't eat after what I just heard and knowing this letter was on my nightstand I had to get away from everyone for a second. I saw Jon's eyes watching me, he has always been watching me after time we have dinner. He has been doing that since the moment I told them I felt insecure about my body. I took a deep breath and slowly opened up the letter. Afraid I would rip it I treated it like it was very delicate paper, something that could rip any second. I wanted to start reading when I heard the door squeak, looking up I see Jon peeking thru the little crack. I nodded him to come inside, he silently slipped next to me in the bed and pulled me close.

" Are you okay?"

" Well if you mean I just found out I have a godfather and my mom has written me a letter, yeah I'm just doing perfect"

" I'm going to kill Jerry"

" After me please"

" As you wish my lady, so what does the letter say?"

" I'm about to find out"

" I'm right here for you my Queen"

I buried myself more in his arms and slowly reopened the letter. In the beautiful curly handwriting I pictured my mom sitting at the dinner table writing me this letter.

My Sweet Myrna,

Writing this letter is the hardest thing for me to do, because I know when you read this letter I will no longer be on this earth, standing next to my beautiful babygirl.

You should know that whatever happens in live I am proud of you, I know I haven't always been a good mother to you but please believe me when I tell you I tried to be the best mother I could be for you. I should have left Shane when he threw that first punch at me but sweetheart I was in love. Right now I don't love him anymore and I'm working on a way to get us out of here, finding us a better life.

If you read this letter I hope you are in the care of your Godmother Pia or your Godfather Rodney. Pia is my dear friend who helped me after all the things I went through with Jerry, she is a good woman and she will be a great mother to you. Your godfather Rodney is someone you have never met, yet he knows everything about you. You see Rodney is the only good thing next to you that Shane has brought into my life, I should have listened to all the people around me saying it would have been better if I had dated Rodney then Shane, Rodney is an amazing man coming from Australia. He has the most genuine smile and heart. He has always helped me out, so I know that if you are in his care he will do everything within his power to make you to most happiest girl on this earth. I bet he will teach you surfing to monster waves he always talks about.

My sweet little Myrna, you are my sunshine, my ray of hope and the most precious thing I will ever poses in this world, please be kind to your big half brother Alex. I know Jerry has been brainwashing him. Forgive Alex since he doesn't know any better.

Please remember that wherever you are on this world I will always be with you, I will look down from the stars and protect you and the beautiful family I know you will have, Please be with a man that wants nothing from you but your love, your smile and your heart. And to this young man I would like to say please take care of the most precious thing I will ever have in this world and keep her safe and love her with all you got, she deserves nothing more than the best. Tell my future grandchildren how proud I am of them and how much I love them.
