Naru POV
"(Yn)! Let's go!" I shout through the halls of the mansion. We have just switched partners because we were getting nowhere and I ended up with (Yn). John and Lin are still together, Monk, Masako and Ayako are together.
"Finee" whines the very agitated (Yn)
(Yn) has been very annoyed by everything lately. I think it's the being in a mansion again.
"Hey, you had better shut up and act like you did when you were the rich idiot" I scold
"Jeez, you're annoying" she says
"Just shut up" I say
"Fine" she says, crossing her arms
We walk down to the basement and when I push the door open I turn to where the thermostat is. I check it and notice it is as low as it can go.
"It's a freaking prank" (Yn) says
"Well then, who did it?" I ask
"Chef" she says
I call up the others and we all walk down to the kitchen to talk with the chef once (Yn) is done talking with the maid about the chef. This is our first job that has been a prank. Wow. I think.
"You okay, Naru?" (Yn) asks me when she gets back, hanging on my arm and resting her head on my shoulder
"Please get off, I am fine" I say
"You suree?" She drags the sure out and wraps her arms around my neck from behind me
"Yes, I am certain" I say, unwrapping her arms
"Okee" she says and walks off after tripping over herself "I'm gonna go take a nap" she calls before stumbling back to a guest room
"Is she okay?" John asks
I ignore him and walk into the kitchen "I need to speak with you, Reno" I say to the Hawaiian chef
"Yeah, brah wussup?" He asks
Boy, this is going to be fun I think sarcastically "well, we believe that you are peaking your master and making him think there is a ghost" I say
"But I like don't go anywhere but this kitchen brah" he says
"Who do you think it was then?" I ask
"Maid or butler, their always doing crap behind masters back, like drinking or prancing, check them" he says seriously
"Okay" I say when inside I'm thinking drinking? (Yn) was with the maid and then started acting all weird, crap is she drunk?
We all decide to check with the butler and maid tomorrow because it is getting late so we head up to where we are going to sleep and there's (Yn), already curled up under one of the blankets on the bed nearest the window.
The next morning
I wake up and walk into the bathroom to find (Yn) leaning over the toilet.
"Agh, I can still taste it" she groans when she sees me
"What happened?" I demand
"I was with the maid, I asked her about the prank and she started giving me more and more drinks and eventually-" she is interrupted by her own puking
"I get it, okay, just sleep" I say
"Hey, I heard that a greasy burger with extra barbecue is the perfect cure for a hangover" Monk says
I walk away at the gross thought of a greasy burger. I hear (Yn) say something to Monk but pay no attention to them. I go and sit on my bed and wait for the chef, who later comes in with plates of pancakes and glasses of juice. Today, we get the maid.
(Yn) POV
"Aghhhh I hate you, Monk" I say before puking one more time
"Love you too" he laughs
"Ugh jerk" I say as I wipe my mouth with a paper towel
"Yup, now let's go lie down" he says
I follow him to his bed where I collapse, still feeling like absolute crap
"Today we will all just have talks with the butler and maid, so we will split into two groups, (Yn) you should stay here and get sleep" Naru says, smiling (yes, I freaking swear he smiled) at me
"No, I'm fine" I say, standing up from the bed
"No, lie down and rest" Naru demands
"No. I am telling you now, I can do this today, I am fine, now let's go" I say, walking past him to the door
"(Yn), may I speak with you in private?" Naru asks
"Uh, sure?"
We walk outside of the room and right when the door shuts he goes off "how could you get drunk on a job?! What is wrong with you?! Well, as punishment for getting drunk you cannot work today, so you lie down, rest and drink water, now go!" He demands
"You just care about me and don't want to admit it" I smirk
"Shut up, go" he demands again
"But I'll be lonely" I whine
"Fine, John can stay with you then" he says agitatedly
"Okay" I smile and walk into the room with a huge smile
"John, can you stay with (Yn)?" Naru asks
"Course" John smiles
"The rest of us will split into two groups and talk with the maid and butler, let's go" Naru says
They split up and leave, leaving me and John alone in the room.
"Hey, well, got anything to drink?" I attempt
"You're seriously asking a priest this?" John asks, giving me the 'mom look'
"Oops?" I say with an attitude that is not like me at all
"What's up with you" John asks, picking up on how I'm not myself
"Nothing" I remark in a way I never would
"Alright, just get some rest" says his adorable accent
I eventually do doze off, still not having any clue what was up with me and fall into a dreamless sleep.
