I have barely a plan and it is pretty dumb so don't be afraid to comment! Naru POV
We walk through (Yn)'s house to see what killed her friend. I honestly feel really bad for (yn). But this is what we deal with all the time and I didn't see her bothered when other people die when we're on jobs.
"--ay?" I hear quietly
"Hmm?" I hum
"I asked if you were okay, you aren't saying anything" (Yn) says
"I'm fine. You need to make sure you don't freak out" I say, noticing how she's so scared
"I'm fine I'll have you know!" She says, sounding offended
"Don't worry, this is how people can get when someone close to them dies. They shut out everyone and deny that they have any feelings towards anything" John whispers as (Yn) storms ahead of us
"Don't go too far" I say as she turns a corner
"Not listening" I hear her voice say as I hear her footsteps speed up
"(Yn)!" Mai shouts
"What, Mai?" (Yn) asks, the footsteps abruptly stopping
"Please don't go too far" Mai says
"Okay" she says
"She's stubborn unless either me or Kaira ask her to do something, she listens even less when she likes someone" Mai winks at me and takes off towards (Yn)
I turn the corner and (Yn) and Mai are standing there talking halfway up the stairs.
"Heh I know right" (Yn) laughs
"What?" I ask
"You, how dumb you are" she giggles before bolting up the stairs two at a time
"Is she five?" I ask Mai as I walk up the stairs
"She's (Yn), no one knows anything about her. Except for Taina, that is" Mai says, looking away on the word Taina
"Who's Taina?"
"When (Yn) moved here they were best friends. They hung out all the time. She moved away just before you and (Yn) met. (Yn) hasn't been the same sense" Mai explains
"But that was how long ago? Like two, three weeks?" I ask
"Yeah, so?"
"I would be over it by now" I shrug and continue up the stairs
"OH MY GAWSH!!!" I hear (Yn) shout at the top of the stairs
"What?" I shout, sprinting up the stairs
"I just got a phone call" she says, slipping her phone back into her pocket
"You scared us! Don't do that!" I shout at her
"Okay, geez" she says, looking towards Mai
"Okay, well what was so 'OH MY GAWSH'?" Mai asks
"Taina says she can come visit in a month!" (Yn) exclaims, grabbing Mai in a huge hug
"Can you even wait that long?" Mai laughs
"I don't know" (Yn) laughs back
"You seem happy" I say, turning and walking past her
