Omg 2k thank you all so much, especially the ones who stuck with me this far! So I got a deviant for my art so check me out if you want, or don't, I really don't care XD. And if any of you are into kind of deep stuff I published a one shot called "If Only" and I, personally, think it is terrible and cheesy but a good friend told me otherwise so yeah, now to the good stuff. (Yn) POV
"Morning" I say, walking up to Naru and kissing his cheek gently
We have been dating for almost a week and a half now and Taina should be arriving today so we woke up really early to go pick her up.
The drive to the airport takes at most 45 minutes but still feels like forever. It has been almost a full month since I saw her. Although, it hasn't exactly been a calm month. We have had cases back to back ever since I joined, which I can only assume must be normal. I have learnt to handle my ability to see ghosts fairly well and even gained myself a boyfriend.
I walk in and watch everyone come and go searching every face extremely closely for Taina's face. I finally watch her walk out of the security area and glance around before heading my way, not knowing I am this way. I call her name and she walks over. She whispers so that only I can hear because she is too shy to talk to anyone else. It kind of reminds me of a friend I had back when I lived in New York. We talk and talk even in the car until we get back to Naru's. At Naru's we all go in and go our separate ways to sleep because it is getting pretty late by now. I still haven't been back to Kaira's house since her death because I am scared of the same happening to me, but I did go back just to grab Moon, who immediately pounces on Taina when she steps through the door.
I wake up the next morning and realize that I finally get to hang out with one of my best friends in the first time since what feels like a life time ago. All in the past few weeks I have found out I can see dead spirits, been possessed, gotten a boyfriend, and seen my friend from before I even met Naru, which, granted, wasn't that long ago. I hear Naru's voice from downstairs and immediately go bouncing down the stairs only to trip and tumble down. I land at the bottom with Naru standing over me. I simply prop myself up on my elbows and smile up at him. For a second I swear I saw a smile cross his face.
"Lovely meetin' you here mate" I say in a mock Australian accent
"It's noon, you know" he says simply
"Oh, uh, whoops" I say, feeling my cheeks go very red from embarrassment, I am not a morning person
"(Yn)?" I hear quietly whispered from behind Naru
"I'm fine Taina" I giggle, getting up
"I wanted to tell you something" she says
"Okay?" I ask, sitting on the stairs
"I'm moving back." She says and I immediately jump up and hug her tighter than I have ever hugged anyone before.
We decide to just hang out today and all go to the movies, the entire group of me, John, Naru, Mai, Masuka, Ayano, Monk and Taina are going.
The entire day just feels like those moments when the day just feels perfect, the sun shining, everyone getting along, those days you just don't want to do anything but smile.
And I wish it could always be like this.
And something tells me it just might.
I'm sorry but this is finally the end. Sorry it took me so long to update but I hope you guys enjoyed this story! I might make a prequel of when (Yn) had first moved to Japan and why but I don't think I'm going to just yet. I'm honestly kind of sad to end this but I hope you guys enjoyed! KISSES 😘😋✌
