Naru POV
(Yn) and I arrive to the school just before 7:00 am, the bell will ring at 8:00 so we have an hour to set up. Everyone else shows up by 7:15 the latest and we immediately get to work.
"So, (Yn), what was it like to sleep at Naru's place?" I hear Mai ask (Yn)
"Eh, he has a nice place" she says
"Mai!" I call, needing her to take some cameras to other rooms throughout the school
She gratefully helps and (Yn) begins wandering around, looking for any sign of spirits.
(Yn) comes back after about fifteen minutes with a bunch of places on a small map of the school coloured in different shades of blue. She explains that the different blues are the different colds, deep blue being the coldest and lighter blues and whites being warmer-warm (normal room-temperature).
She hands the sheet to me and I have the others set up cameras and thermometers and our other equipment in the coldest rooms more so than the other rooms.
"Kazuya!" I hear someone call me by my real name and turn hmm, must be important if they used my name and not just Naru
"Yes?" I say, turning towards who called my name
"I'm sensing something" Masako tells me
"Can you pinpoint where it is?" I ask
"No, maybe near either the office on the bottom floor, the mid level science classroom or the boys bathroom on the top (third) floor" she says, opening her eyes
"Okay, I will have you, Mai and (Yn) go check that out
"I heard my name" (Yn) says, poking her head through the door
"See anything?" I ask her
"Not yet" she says
"Okay, I need you to go to the boys bathroom on the third floor" I tell her
"What?! Why?!" She asks, shocked at me needing her to go there
"Masako says she senses a spirit possibly located there" I explain "she is going to check for it in the middle floor science room and Mai will be in he bottom floor office
"Okay" she nods and trots away
It is 7:45 when we decide to have Mai, (Yn) and Masako dress up as high school students and watch what people are doing that could draw spirits.
It is currently 8:00 and the first waves of students are filling the halls.
Masako POV
(Yn) runs into the sea of girls our age first, me being a TV star I am only a little used to crowds, I cling to the back of Mai's shirt as she follows (Yn), who looks totally normal in the crowd.
We all jump into the classes we were assigned to go to and sit in a desk where we will not be noticed easily. I do exactly as Naru had told us to while (Yn) and Mai run around talking to people in the halls. I sit where I will not be noticed while I can hear (Yn) and Mai's voices in the other rooms.
I notice a few people in the desks surrounding mine holding papers and looking at them as if they are confused. I snap a picture on my phone and study the paper a little closer, I cannot fully see what is on the paper but it looks to be part of a voodoo or something.
I send the pic to he rest of the group and (Yn) sends another one back, it is of four girls sitting around a pentacle with a small candle lit so the teacher cannot see it, Mai sends another picture similar to (Yn)'s.
