Chapter 35

//Katniss POV//

The next day Peeta wakes me up in the morning very rudely if I must add. After he saw I was awake he just left.

I get dressed in pants and a crop top, I do my hair in a messy bun and put on my shoes. There is no point in doing my makeup, they are gonna do it in the studio anyway. I grab my phone and my wallet.

"Peeta hurry up" I say as grab my keys and wait by the door. He comes out 5 minutes later dressed really casually. I get out with him following me, I get in the car and wait for him. I drive us to the filed where we are going skydiving, in a tense silent.

When we get there Peeta gets out and doesn't even wait for me. Rude.

I get out too, and make up artist all rush to me, they sit me Ina chair and do something with my face with products I can't even name. When they are done my face looks like it has no makeup on it. It looks so natural and healthy.

Another lady comes over and gives me a body suit and converse. I put it on and go outside. Peeta is in similar clothes except his body suit is white and blue and mine in pink and black.

"Sweetheart are you ready?" Dad asks me. I nod

"Are you sure? you can still back out right now" he says

"Yeah I'm sure" I say

"THATS MY GIRL" he put an arm around me and we start walking to the airplane, with Peeta and Delly who is in the same clothes as I am, following us. The plane takes off a couple minutes later.

"Now Katniss remember, when you jump you have to jump hand on hand we its Peeta but then you let go to open up your parachute and your gonna pull but not to much to actually open it, remember someone is trying to kill you so they cut your parachute. Then Peeta is going to grab you and you will be safe but if you see that your about to die pull the thingy I don't want you to die" dad says

"Got it" I say as I put on the parachute and the hamlet. I take a deep breath as I look down from the window , damn we are very high.

"Okay Katniss they are done, it's your turn" dad says

"Just in case you don't make it, I love you, and so does your mom and your brothers" dad jokes and gives me hug.

"Geez thanks" I say sarcastically as I go stand next to Peeta.

"And action" dad says and I look at Peeta who nods. He takes my hand and without a warning he pulls me and we jump, well more like he pushed us.

I'm getting an adrenaline rush, gosh this is so amazing, the wind doesn't feel that nice but it's okay. Peeta looks at me and smiles, I smile back and I completely forget that I'm mad at him for yelling at me yesterday, and for not keeping me warm.
