Chapter 7

Peeta's POV
After we left Katniss house everybody but Gale and Finnick left so we die decided to go to my house
"So were is Katniss going for dinner?" Gale asks
"I don't know but she said she is going to dinner with her parents and that means another family that has a boy Katniss age" Finnick answers
"Why would they do that?" I ask and we sit down on the couch
"Katniss mom never approves who she dates so whenever Katniss is single her mom always arranges a dinner with one of her friends to try to find her a boyfriend and if Effie(Katniss mom) manipulates Katniss well a husband in the future" he says
"That is horrible" I say
"Yeah and if she is looking for a boyfriend I am right here" Gale says and I punch his arm
"Dude it's her mom who wants to find her a boyfriend no her"
"Yeah Peet is right Katniss always goes to the dinner to satisfy her mom but she always does something stupid in the middle of dinner" Finnick says
"How do you know?" Gale asks
"I went to one of this dinners once when we were 16 she flirted with the waiter and she tripped the dudes mom she fell on the waiter and then another waiter came she tripped him too but he that red wine that is hard to take of clothes when it gets spilled the waiter spilled it on the dude and on the dudes dad and then when the manager came, Katniss was sitting there all innocent and me, her brothers and dad we were just laughing her mom was just so embarrassed and mad then the family left and Katniss mom gave her a 2 hour lecture on manners" Finnick says and all 3 of us start laughing. Then Finnick gets a notification on Instagram
"Dudes look" he says and shows us a picture of Katniss and her brothers she looks beautiful
"I swear how can a girl that hot not have a boyfriend" Gale exclaims
"Maybe she does in England" Finn says
"You think so" I say
"Not really I known her for to long if she had a boyfriend she would of tell me by now"
"Well does she has a crush on anyone?" Gale says
"Hard to tell Katniss is a horrible lier but when it comes to hiding her feelings she does it very well but since I known her since we were 6 I can tell and yes she does" Finnick says she probably like Cato or Gale
"Who do you think it is?" I say
"Now that I have no clue but it's one of you two I can feel it and if one of you'll does date her remember this she is my best friend brake her heart I will brake your face"he says all serious causing Gale to laugh
"I have done it before and even if your my friend I will still hurt you" he says and Gale shuts up
"Let's watch a movie now" I say and put the 'Ouija' and we start watching it

Katniss POV
After everyone left I got in the shower got dressed did my makeup and y hair then went downstairs.
"Stefan, Damon I am ready" I yell as I reach the last step
"Katniss you look beautiful" my brothers say
"Thank you you'll look very handsome now where are we going to dinner?"
"Spargo"
"Who's family is it this time"
"Don't worry they are middle class an the McBride's"
"Fine I will relax and try not to do anything stupid but if I end up being Mrs.McBride I am kill you" I warn
"Okay but before let's take a picture" he say and we take our phones take a bunch of pictures and post them on Instagram
"Okay let's go or mom will get mad you'll know we can't be late" I say we go outside get in Damon's car and drive to Spargo
"Everdeen" my brother says once we get there I grab Stefan's arm on my right and Damon's on my left and keep walking. The waiter leads to table with our and the McBride family I see the dude I am suppose to meet he is tall he has black hair hazel eyes he has olive skin just like me. My brothers leave me in front of him you can see how his eyes travel from my legs and stop at my face.

"Honor to meet Ms. Everdeen" he says and takes my hand and kisses it

"you too....'

"Carlos" he fills in for me because i didn't know his name

"You too Carlos" I fill in i turn to see my mother and Mrs.McBride with a very very big smiles on there faces, a very bored looking dad and my brothers are in there phones

"Well lets sit down" my mothers says and of couse they make me and Carlos sit together we order food and everything was going great until Carlos started touching my thigh I slapped his hand and he took it alway

"Excuse me I have to go to the restroom" i say and get up and go to the restroom and text Finnick
Me:
Finnick I need you
Finn:
aww thanks I need you too
Me:
shut up you dumb ass not like that
Finn:
then how?
Me:
I am at dinner and the dude is a pervert
Finn:
😡 what did he do?
Me:
he keeps on touching my thigh and not to low enough to be innocent
Finn:
😡😡😡😡😡😡😡he did what okay tell me the restaurant I will go in a second
Me:
no I am leaving in about 5 minutes you know I am going to do something stupid but I don't want to be alone where are you? so I can go there
Finn:
Peeta's home I will wait bye
Me:
bye see you soon
After that I came out and sit down
"Katniss dear what took you so long" mrs.McBride says
"I am sorry it's that time of the month" I say with a smile, mom chokes on the wine and my brothers start laughing
"Okay let's order dessert now" mrs.McBride says and everyone nods of course Carlos touches my thigh but under my dress now so I take my wine and 'accidentally' drop it on his suit
"OMG I am so sorry" I say
"It's okay I will just take it off" he says and I nod then we order dessert of course our moms make us get a dessert together it a cake when it gets there Carlos is about to pick up fork but I stop him
"No I will feed you" I say and he smirks. I pick up the whole plate and drop it in his head he looks startled
"I am not done" I say grad Stefan's wine and drop it on him I pick up my purse
"Damon the keys" I extend my arms and he gives them to me
"Bye don't try to follow me" I say and get in Damon's car and drive alway to Peeta's house. Once I get there I knock on the door and a boy he looks like Stefan's age opens it
"I am looking for Peeta "
"Who are you?"
"Katniss"
"Come on in Peeta Finnick and Gale are in the kitchen"
"Thank you" I say and step inside and go to the kitchen Peeta and Gale notice me but I put my finger in my mouth for them to be quiet I shut the lights and jump on Finnick's back
"PIGGYBACK RIDE" I yell causing Finnick to yell like a little girl I start laughing
"Thank you Finn I needed that laugh after today" I say and turn the lights back on
"Oh Kit Kat is you" he says
"Who did you expect Chucky or what?"
"Why would I expect Chucky I am still going to therapy after watching the seed of Chucky" he say and I laugh again he was all was scared of that movie to me it was the least scary Chucky movie ever the scariest part was when the son pee his pants
"There is the laugh now tell daddy what happened at dinner" he says and pats his lap I sit next to Peeta
"Well daddy after I came from texting you Mrs.McBride asked me what took me so long so I told her it was that time of the month'' and that's enough to make all 4 of us laugh
"Well then like I told you he touched my thigh I slapped his arm then 'accidentally' dropped my wine in his jacket then we order dessert then he touched my thigh again but under my dress then dessert came I picked it up and dropped the cake in his head then my brothers wine then I am here" I say
"He is such a pervert" Finnick says
"And tomorrow I am going to get my yearly 2 hour lecture about manners and how if I continue with my child attitude I will never get a husband" I say
"But your 19 your to young to be thinking marriage" Peeta says
"Thank you finally someone understands!" I say
"Well you know your mom looks up to her sister and her daughter got married when she was 16 now she is 20 and is on her 2nd child" Finnick says
"Actually she is on her 3rd one now" I correct him
"See"
"I don't get my mom she got married when she was 23 and she wants me to get married when I am 19 I mean I don't even have a boyfriend" I say
"Do you want one?" Gale says
"Dude I just got off from a relationship 3 weeks ago in England I am not ready for another one" I say
"But I co-" he starts but I cut him off
"I want to get off the subject of my love life"
"Let's watch a movie then" Peeta says
"What ever let's just not watch a chick flick" Finnick say "I still love you sis" he puts his hand around me
"I love you to bro and I want to watch a scary movie how about The Purge" I suggest
"HELL NO" the 3 of them yell
"Then how about As Above So Below" I say and they nod and sit down and watch the movie
